SONOMA COUNTY PERMIT PMR24-0340 Rare larger home in Sea Ranch! Beautifully updated, modern and ready for you to enjoy. Walk to Shell beach, miles of trails to enjoy, untouched nature all around. Walking: Less than 3 minutes to bluff trails and less than 10 minutes walk to toes in the sand.

House has three traditional bedrooms, and a loft space. An additional separate bedroom and lounge are downsides. There is one bath downstairs (standard tub/shower combo). A very large bathroom upstairs has a shower and double sink. Plenty of room for all in the great room, a well equipped kitchen with high end appliances and a new hot tub round out the amenities of this beautiful home.

For kids: we have a pack and play, audio baby monitor, portable chair for meal time and single BOB stroller. There are also three desks in the house for distance learning.

Linens and bath towels provided. Personal items like soap, shampoo and conditioner are not provided. Household cleaning, paper goods and hand soap are provided.

Gas bbq, outdoor dining table, and large new spa make life on the porch sweet!

Please provide your own beach items like chairs, umbrella and towels for the beach if so desired.

IMPORTANT NOTES: The association is notoriously strict and with apologies, please know these are not our rules but we must abide. They limits cars to three. They limit car passes to two, which means you can park int he driveway no problem but if you park elsewhere on the street one of the two passes provided to you must be in your window, These passes also get you into the pools. However the limit the number of people admitted into the pool to 6, even between the two passes. So you may have to but day passes for pool users beyond 6. Passes are $5 per person.

While we love pets, we ask that you leave your feline friends at home. We have a severe cat allergy in the family. VRBO doesn't have a place to express that directly but we please ask that you respect that request.

Spacious, architect-designed Sea Ranch house eith well-equipped kitchen, dining room with seating for eight, patio with seating for six, big Weber gas grill, incredible master bedroom with multiple windows looking out on ocean and meadow views, two other spacious bedrooms, bonus suite with queen bed-sit room and fun loft with three twin beds reached by sturdy wooden ladder, huge upstairs walk in shower, cute balcony bedroom over living room with trundle bed--I could go on and on. Tastefully decorated throughout with a unique desk in master bedroom apparently fashioned from a small metal airplane wing, rivets and all. The hot tub is huge, warm and private. No downside in any department!

We just finished a wonderful stay at holiday house. We had plenty of room for our 8 adults to sleep comfortably, play games, hot tub,and just hang out. The kitchen and house was very well equiped and the host was extremely responsive when we had a question. As a family who does lots of rentals, this was one of our best experiences ever on these two points. (Thank you Erin for helping our stay to be great!)We loved walking to the close little beaches - tidepool beach was closed through labor day because baby seals were down there, and it was so fun to watch them play and flip around. Would like to come back sometime when we could explore these tidepools. Tip- in the downstairs pink and upstairs bedrooms, we noticed that it was better to crack side windows than those that face west. During the night a pretty strong wind came up and rattles the doors if you have west facing windows open.(All photos from Sea Ranch paths and beaches)

Awesome location, very spacious home to accommodate two families. For the price of the stay, we would’ve expected basic shampoo etc in the showers and beach towels/gear, etc. however it was a good stay overall.

The Holiday House was a wonderful place that met our needs for a family reunion; it was one of 3 houses we rented and this one was the house we met the most. It was spacious common rooms, the outdoor porch with BBQ, the hot tub that was hot and enjoyable for all. The backroom next to the kitchen was perfect to place one young family with 3 kids. Ideal for short and long walks along with coastline. Thank you.

We are 3 adults w/ no kids. Obviously we did not need a place this big. But it was nice to spread out & not all be in 1 room. The place is kinda funky. But we loved it. 4 min walk to the bluffs. Hot tub worked great. Grill was nice to have. There is washer & dryer on site which is also nice. Deer walking around Sea Ranch. It's so nice & quiet. Tons of stars when we were there. We had an excellent time. Hope to go back again.

We have been going to The Sea Ranch for 25 years. We've tried a lot of houses. This one is in the upper tier. The listing is accurate. We had 9 people and all was smooth. The layout is a tad non-standard, but it actually creates separate spaces for people. An additional bathroom would have been great, but we made it work. Beds were very comfortable other than the mattress in the bedroom off the kitchen (very hard).Kitchen was amazingly well stocked. High end appliances. Good layout, enough room to work.Living/dining space was very large and the window seats were enjoyed by all.Heating was excellent.Hot tub worked beautifully and was huge. Location is excellent, close to the bluff trail.Communication with the host was quick and helpful. We hope to rent this place again!

Our group had a wonderful stay at Sea Ranch-- Holiday House was the perfect spot and location. There were 8 of us comfortably housed there-- we could have easily had a couple more-- and when those in our other house came down for Thanksgiving Dinner or other meals--making 13-- the house was ideal. Not jammed in the least. Close to the beach/hikes/tide pools-- a simply wonderful time for Thanksgiving Weekend. We will want to return.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at The Holiday House at Sea Ranch. We had our two grown children and their families with a 9, 6, 4 and 10 month old and two long time family friends. Everyone except the baby easily walked to Shell Beach along the Bluff Trail. The kitchen had everything you could ever need: Kitchen Aid mixer, two sets of dishes and lots of glasses and mugs. The living/dining area has several couches and sitting areas. The sunset from the upstairs bedroom was spectacular. And we were able to see the comet both nights we were there.

AMAAAAAZING location so close to the ocean. The four large bedrooms were ideal for our extended family stay (siblings & parnters, grandparents, and three kids with a dog). Plenty of room for games, meals, fab hot tub, fairly well stocked kitchen, and perfect location in Sea Ranch. Its less dated than the photos may look.

Sea ranch is wonderful! We loved our time there. We only had one issue with garbage cans overflowing when we got there and we had to pack all our garbage out with us when we left. Also, night critters made a mess of the overflowing garbage that we cleaned up each morning.

Holiday House easily accommodated our family of six adults and two kids. A short walk to the trail and tide pools kept everyone entertained. The kitchen had everything we needed and was in perfect working condition. We enjoy star gazing, eating out in the deck and watching the wildlife (a raccoon family came by to say hello). We had a wonderful time at the Holiday House. The set-up was perfect for our family, enough bedrooms and loft areas for everyone to have a private area. The hot tub was awesome. Nice that there was a TV service. The location felt very private, yet close enough to walk to Shell Beach, which we did several times. We are foodies, so have an Instapot, Crockpot, and KitchenAid mixer in the kitchen was nice. We hope to stay at this house again.

We had been given the wrong code to access the house and didn't have contact information for the owner. After about an hour a member of our party successfully guessed the right entry code. I hadn't had any communication from VRBO on this property for six months. The house was great, it was clean, well maintained and provisioned and everyone in our party loved the layout and location.

We found Holiday House to be the perfect location and property for a nice, peaceful family vacation. Bright, airy and very sunny. We like to cook and the house was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and utensils, including a new refrigerator and stove. Also a new spa. I booked this house in Sea Ranch for a reunion getaway with my two best friends from college and their families. We had 6 adults and 6 kids. Each couple had their own king size bed bedroom (What a gem!) and the kids had two options for a bedroom/loft. We especially loved that there were no beds in the common area. This allowed the kids to be put to bed and the grownups to stay up and play! We loved the hot tub and the very short walk down to the tide pool/beach area. Gualala is a short drive north with cute cafes and a couple small markets. The kitchen was well appointed and had just about everything we needed. This Holiday House was just so lovely. Would stay here again with friends or just our small family due to location.
