The apartment was central, it was clean and very comfortable. The balcony was a bonus, lovely to sit out and watch the world go by. Haris the host couldn’t have been more helpful, whatsapping useful information and offering any help needed. He even let us keep the apartment after check out time because we had a later flight.

We felt like locals! Our host made a number of great suggestions for non-touristy restaurants which were wonderful. The apt overlooks a pedestrian section in the heart of town and we several times sat on the balcony drinking wine and people watching. It’s quite a big space—living room/dining room/kitchen combo, bedroom, big closets, beautiful two-sink bathroom with great shower. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Heraklion. And we especially appreciated that our host was almost immediately responsive whenever we had a question or needed help. He’s the best!
Can’t think of a thing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We mainly ate breakfast in the apartment, but since there were so many places to eat in the area, we also ate breakfast out. The location was great, the apartment manager Haris was very friendly and always there. During our stay in the apartment he was interested in whether we needed anything.
I can't think of anything that was bad.
