Gorgeous apartment, kind host, perfect location

Superb in every way! The apartment is exquisitely decorated - very thoughtful touches. It felt like a home, not a rental apartment. The kitchen was very well appointed. Lovely plates, glasses, etc, lots of condiments - absolutely everything one would want. Cedric the host was extremely helpful and kind. He met us outside the apartment and even carried our luggage up to the apartment. He gave us many recommendations and was very responsive to our additional enquiries. The view of the river from the apartment was beautiful. Very central location yet quiet. I can't recommend this place enough. It was a highlight of our time in Auxerre.

Position could not be bettered. Wonderful views from every window. Plenty of space for guests and thoughtful living plan. Cédric was a thoughtful host and attended to all our needs.

Charming apartment with fantastic view, absolute best place to stay in Auxerre!

First of all the owner Cedric was a delight, personable, polite and charming. His apartment is a gem, decorated beautifully with taste and style, comfortably appointed with a superbly equipped kitchen . . . the best coffee machine I've ever seen in a vacation home! The view of the waterfront from the primary bedroom and the salon is gorgeous. Parking is convenient, right outside the apartment for a small fee, or free across the river directly accessible by the walking bridge in 3 mins. We will return without a doubt!

Cedric was so helpful and interesting to talk to. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Auxerre. Tip… lots of restaurants and shops are closed on Mondays. The apartment was stylish and well equiped.

Nice and big apartment, overlooking river

Apartment is nice and big, in a lovely location, just by the river. Parking - street parking, close by, not expensive. There are few nice restaurants close by, town center is 5-10 min walk. Cedric was great host!

Scenic stop over on our way from Paris

The host Cédric was great, sending us information on local restaurants, etc. The apartment was well decorated with a lovely view over the river near several restaurants and within easy walking distance of the old town center. We appreciated that we were able to park nearby to unload an then move the car to free parking just across the river only a short walk back over a lovely footbridge. It was a large apartment which could easily accommodate four to six people.

In the evening there is a bright light just under the bridge on the other side of the river which requires one to close the curtains in the bedroom. We mentioned this to our host when we left and he agreed to speak to the marina to ask them to adjust the light so it shines downward rather than across to the buildings on the other side.

Perfect location to explore Auxerre

The apartment is perfectly located on the promenade of the Yonne river at the foot of the old town. You can easily walk everywhere. Free parking is on the other side of the river along the road, a three minute walk away (across footbridge). The apartment is cosy with a large dining room table and beautiful views on all sides.

There is only one toilet in the apartment and you get to it from the kitchen and does not have a sink, which is slightly inconvenient. The shower is on the small side and the two of the mattresses could be updated.
