Lovely characterful place, well located with parking.

Characterfully restored top floor of an old grand maison. Lovely views of the church.conveniently located with parking. Well equipped.

The only thing I'd say is the extractor fan in the bathroom lasted for ages when it went off and was noisy so an isolator switch would be useful for night time.

A lovely stop over. Beautiful roof top views and everything walkable - pretty little town supermarket, cafe, shops etc

Quaint. Lovely features. Offer of cool drinks on arrival for small fee. Felt welcoming. Excellent location for shopping and restaurants and culture. private gated entrance and secure car park 🅿️ in shade.

A comfortable open space for short stays.

Open and loved the toys and books for kids. Well appointed kitchen.

The information booklet was inaccurate and outdated. When I asked the owner about the book stating new dish sponges were supplied each visit, but ours had hair on it and was clearly dirty, he was dismissive instead of apologetic. Saying they wash them they don’t supply new. The book should reflect what they actually do. Restaurants they recommend are permanently closed. It also should be clear just how many stairs are required. Very difficult for families.

‏Our stay was lovely!

We stayed for one night before heading to Disneyland. The town is beautiful, full of charming historical spots, and the host was very friendly and supportive whenever we needed help.

The only thing I would suggest is providing a more detailed explanation for how to reach the house, as it was a bit tricky to find.

Colette tour 2025

Great central location and quiet which made for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Everything you needed in the apartment and lots of nearby cafes, bars and restaurants. Auxerre lovely and interesting places nearby like Colette's house in St Sauveur en Puisaye which was a focus of our stay

Loved the double heighted main room. Space. Private parking. Host was very quick to respond…brought us logs for the fire which we had asked for .

Fantastic layout with lots of room to relax, chill and talk! Great interactions and assistance from the family owners.

Only the three flights of stairs - one of our group had a leg injury so it was challenging but doable. No way around this.

Central location and helpful hosts

We only stayed here one night en route home from a ski trip. It would have made a lovely base for a longer visit and we would love to return. Our hosts were very helpful and gave us a lot of useful information about the city and its surroundings. The apartment had ample space for our party (4 adults and 3 children) and great views of the city from various windows. The location was perfect for wandering around the city and looking for restaurants, boulangeries etc.

Everything was great!

Friendly and very helpful host. Helped us organize transportation for 13 people, which was not easy. Very good location. Big, spacious and clean apartment. Comfortable beds. Kitchen with everything you need. We felt the owner's care and attention all the time. Everything was Great ! Recommend !

Strongly recommend! Beat stay in the area!

The position in the city center is very convenient, you can get anywhere by foot. Although it is in the city center, it is very quiet and you can rest without problems. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and you also have activities for children: a box with toys and Disney+ channel. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Th host is very nice and friendly and can give you tips where to eat and what to do around the town.

A splendid place to stay to visit Auxerre where medieval buildings nestle with French Renaissance

Hadrien, although was not present at the property upon arrival we were able to communicate with him regarding our stay and was responsive fully answering our questions, stating he was out with his family and would come over and welcome us later. Clos St Eusebe apartment located with the winemakers house a 17 Century building in the heart of downtown Auxerre where all the shops accessible are in close proximity. The District of St Eusebe historically been the bourgeois part if the town.

The newly renovated apartment does need adjustments with the flooring - where there are small level differences between the rooms which could easily cause trips/falls. Once the rooms are more clearly defined and the apartment space reconfigured this accommodation could be spectacular!

the size, amenities, owner, location, breakfast, everything was great. best stay I had on a 2 week biking trip thru Burgundy. Hadrian was very helpful in every way, English was very good.the apartment is large and a welcome relief after 12 days in mostly small hotel rooms. 2 bedrooms and nice shower. also good secure storage for our bikes. unless you're trying to stay budget I suggest you book this place.

Hadrian's place is right in the centre of Auxerre. The beams in the place are lovely. It is well appointed and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Last minute booking but excellent

We ended up stuck as our car broke down nearby and we had to find somewhere to stay very last minute. The host was very welcoming and friendly, we were a group of English people and he made us feel very at ease. The property itself was stunning, very clean and well presented- I especially liked the treat of having a coffee machine! Even though we did not plan to stay here we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend.

Toppen lägenhet mitt i city med en suverän värd

Excellent frukost. Frukosten innehöll allt vad man kan önska sig. Fick de bästa färska baguetterna och croissanterna mm varje morgon. Muslin var organisk. Värden sitter och väntar på bageriet på de bästa croissanterna....det är passion. En kommunikativ och mycket trevlig värd som vill att du ska trivas i huset och lägenheten. Bra stora utrymmen. Vi var 4 personer och hade gott om plats. Restauranger och shopping finns runt hörnet. Vi kom i en stor bil som fick plats på gården som är en säker plats. Stort plus för att vara mitt i city. Vi ska hit nästa höst och kommer såklart att bo hos Hadrian.

Har inget att klaga på.
