About this farm stay rental

Ground floor house situated in a wooded property of 5 hectares. On the front and rear two ponds. On the ground floor: garage a car, kitchen, large dining room with fireplace, living room, office, 2 bedrooms, one with fireplace, 2 bathrooms. The owner welcomed us on our arrival to show us around. Very nice man. The place was clean and tidy with a lovely large garden. Two terraces meant we got the sun all day if we wanted it. Would recommend as a place for peace and tranquillity

The property’s amenities stated linens and towels provided. It also stated WiFi and internet. There was no internet. When we got there we were met and let into the property and some points regarding use of sink, fire and garbage pointed out. There were towels out for us but we had brought our own bath towels which we used. The beds were not made up with linens so we made them up from linens that were there. We had paid a security deposit. When leaving the property we cleaned up and stripped the beds leaving the house as it was when we arrived. The property manager refused to return the security deposit as he said the linens and towels had to be paid for as not included in the rental. He would not accept that the property was advertised with these provided. In addition even though advertised with internet WiFi there was none. We would not have booked this property if we had known these amenities were not provided We will raise this further with Home and Away as we have booked with them previously and never had this issue
