1800’s restored log cabin on 26 private rolling wooded acres with sunset views

Great place

This was a great place for my wife and I to get away from the kids and celebrate our anniversary. Rocking on the front porch enjoying morning coffee and looking out over the expanse of the hills made it hard to want to leave.

Beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful and secluded. The host was very nice and helpful.

Nice property. Cabin inside was very clean. Nice porch looking over the pond and hillside. The beach area has grown over and sand was gone and is now just grass. The grass around the cabin needed mowed it was 4”to 5” tall. From looking at the vrbo site and the pictures of the cabin property it has been let go and yards could use some mowing and weeding. How the pictures show of the pond was beautiful and now you can’t even see the wall of rocks and sand beach it showed in the picture on this site. It said there were 2 bicycles to use and they had flat tires and have not been touched in years which was a bummer because we wanted to ride. Very secluded and private which was peaceful ! Maybe the site on vrbo should show updated photos of how it looks now. They have a beautiful gem here it just needs some weekly love to really show its beauty! I’m a country girl and love nature but I also love to keep my yard looking nice for others to see. Especially if it’s a cabin you rent on a weekly basis. It is a nice cabin and property to rent but just keep in mind it all doesn’t look like the original pictures they show on the rental site. Maybe that’s why it’s up for sale the owners just can’t keep up with the work. Because it’s a huge property and would be a time consuming weekly job to keep up with it all. We did have a nice time here overall. Loved the 2 dogs that visited too ! Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice cabin and everyone who stays here will like it. Sunsets were beautiful!
