About this house rental
Overlooking stunning Opahi Bay in Mahurangi West, this cute bach is set in beautiful bush setting and just a few minutes walk from the beach and boat ramp – ideal for a family or group weekend away. Opahi Bay is a calm and child friendly beach with fantastic rocks to explore and a lovely swimming beach when the tide is in. Everyone falls in love with the native birdlife surrounding this bach.
The bach is a two level house, with queen bedroom and en-suite on the upper level and two more bedrooms and family bathroom on the lower level (note: the queen room accesses the bathroom via the bedroom with 1 double and 2 single beds, so best for families), all with comfortable beds and quality linen.
The bach itself is well equipped with everything you need, including a BBQ, outdoor furniture and a heat pump for cosy winter getaways, has relaxed furnishings and WiFi.
The Mahurangi West area has so much to offer with beautiful nearby walks and beach exploring at Te Muri Beach, Sullivans Bay and Mita Bay and only 15 minutes drive to the Puhoi General Store and historic Puhoi Pub. Matakana is around 30 minutes drive, offering wineries, farmers markets and shopping.

Homely feel with everything we needed & more! Hadn't ever stayed in the area so it was a great base to visit Sullivan's & Te Muri without worrying about the traffic back to Auckland in the evening. Also great to wake up to birds in the bush & Californian quail on the lawn. Could've done without the mossies but that's NZ bush for you...
