About this house rental
Positioned just a few minutes drive from the wonderful Saunton Sands, this beautiful lodge has a bubbling hot tub, open plan living and contemporary decor, making it simply dreamy retreat on the North Devon Coast.
One of just three luxury lodges on an exclusive site in Braunton, Broadpath is a one bedroom, pet friendly property with a huge veranda and oodles of airy, indoor space. The master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious king size bed that has its own modern en-suite bathroom. Timber accents and sumptuous soft furnishing give the room a welcoming atmosphere and huge floor to ceiling windows invite views from the garden inside, making it the perfect place to enjoy a lazy lie-in before heading to the beach for a day of exploration.
The property's living area is a relaxing space and includes a large sofa as well as a table and seating for dining. Open plan with the kitchen, it's the ideal place to spend time in, whether it be to cook a favourite meal together or simply to onwind with a glass of wine and a movie. Accessed through french doors from the living room, the large, covered deck is furnished with a table and chairs, so warm summer evenings can be spent dining alfresco or enjoying a soak in the hot tub while waiting for the sun to set.
Pets: 2 pets allowed, a fixed fee of £25 per dog for a short stay of 2-4 night stays and £40 per dog for a 7+ night stay is chargeable, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas.
Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £50 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in Broadpath at Great Field Lodges, Braunton. The location was perfect for a quiet weekend away, very peaceful. Our dog loved the garden and it was secure so she couldn’t wander off.
The Lodge was amazing it was so nicely decorated and the hosts had provided everything we needed, even bathrobes.
The hot tub was undercover which was great and there was an outdoor warm shower which I thought was ideal for the hot tub. Normally in must places we’ve stayed in you have to walk through the lodge to get showered before so this was a great idea.
There was dog treats, poo bags and a towel for the dog and we had milk and a bottle of Prosecco.
It’s situated in a lovely part of Devon with lots of walks from the lodge to the coast and plenty of places to visit locally especially Saunton Sands and Braunton Burrows.
We will definitely be staying here again.
Wonderful lodges set out in a perfect setting for a break away.

Having read the reviews we were quite confident that Broadpath was a good choice for a short break..and we were not disappointed. Clean stylish quiet ..early morning road noise didn’t disturb us even with the window open. Very dog friendly, and nice treats left for us and our dog. Quality linens and furnishings, the bed was so comfortable!! Can’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t provided. A big plus point for us was the provision of facilities to recycle our rubbish..especially glass bottles. No drive of shame with our empties rattling around whilst we look for a bottle bank!
All in all a lovely break and somewhere we hope to revisit.

Okay for short stay, garden area needs tidying up, would be better to have standard fridge freezer as below counter fridge and ice box useless. Certainly good to be warm, lucky we weren’t getting hot weather of inside would have been unbearable. Overall okay for 4-5 days but wouldn’t stay longer and would not stay again.
