B&B Gina Trastevere

We liked the free breakfast with a good variety of foods, even some fresh fruit. There was also free water which was nice. The beds were comfortable and there were power plugs right next to the beds which was handy. There was more than one large towel per person which I loved because I have long hair and usually take two large towels when showering. The location was really good. Easy connection into the historic centre and Vatican, either by public transport or by foot. It’s fairly close to Trastevere - an area with lots of good restaurants. Even though it’s super close to the train station Trastevere, I’m not sure if it’s actually in that district. The guy that did check in with us was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here!

One day, a guy upstairs had some band rehearsal which went on for quite a long time and we could hear it quite loudly. However, this was at daytime. We didn’t have problems sleeping because of noise which I’m grateful for.

It had a great air conditioner and the breakfast is all day and the hosts are very kind. It was a great spot not too far from the city center

It is a bit of a bus ride into town

The complimentary breakfast was really nice, and saved us a lot of time to prepare breakfast in the morning. The owner was really considerate and nice too.

The common area had a weird smell.

Enjoyed the all day breakfast, there were plenty to choose from. The place was very convenient for travel, and it was clean .

It's advertised as a guest house , it is a converted flat ,in a block of flats. It's a little dated, but pleasent enough. Using the wardrobe requires climbing on the single bed, which isn't the best idea. Says toiletries are provided no conditioner though, they did say we should ring if we needed anything though. Not sure if I would give this 3 stars , but maybe I were just expecting something more.
