La Victorel

The location itself is a wonderful gateway to nature but also a good starting point to visit cities like Sibiu, Sighisoara or Alba Iulia. The traditional style of the houses is very creative and inside you have all the comfort you need.

We stayed here at the end of a day on the Transfagarasan. A beautifully decorated house in a typical Romanian village. Very comfortable beds, good showers and off-street parking. Badminton, chess and other games. We stayed in the summer, but it would also be a lovely cozy hide-away in winter.

The house is gorgeously done in order to meet all the needs for 2 couples as we were, but defintaly tons of space for 2 families or more. Amazing dining and living area, with a kitchen that had everything that we needed and 2 sleeping rooms that are absolutely perfect and beautifully designed - we slept very well! The yard is very nice, has lots of traditional items and elements, with places to sunbathe, sit and eat, barbeque or just campfire and enjoy the silence. We also enjoyed the visits of the cats from the property and neighbors 😄! They were all very cute and friendly. La Victorel helped us enjoy the Porumbacu experience more and get all the feels of the traditional village! Thanks a lot - we will definitely come back!
