The hosts were a lovely family who could not do enough for you. They met us from the railway station as the property is about a 40 min tuk tuk ride away up in the hills which cost 1500 Rupees. The room was clean & the bed was comfortble with mosquito net provided. The family made us a curry for dinner which was delicious & plentiful. They also arranged the tuk tuk to take us to the bus station at Tangalle the next morning.
The property, as in a lot of cases we have found, is not as described on Booking.com site. It is not a one bedroom house with separate living room & kitchen. It is a room only with a bathroom down the corridor. There is no hot water for the sink or shower. Booking.com stated our room price incuded air conditioning but we were charged extra for it. However, considering the price we paid we still enjoyed our stay (only 1 night as heading for Bundala next day) & would recomnend if you want a nice quiet stay in the hills.

La maison est constituée de 2 étages. Tout est propre et l'accueil de la famille est juste incroyable. Tout le monde a été au petit soin pour que nous passions un superbe séjour. Petit déjeuner et diner vraiment fantastiques. On s'est senti "chez nous".
Il y a une vraie différence de standing et d'équipements entre les chambres des 2 étages.
