Loved this apartment in the heart of Tongeren!

Its location was amazing, very close to the centre. The kitchen was well appointed, and the stairs were no hassle at all. Beds were comfortable and we loved the living area! It was too cold to sit outside (it snowed!) but we really liked that space too. We liked that there were doors between all the rooms / living spaces and the stairs, so it was easy with a toddler. We all decided that photos couldn't do it justice

We would have preferred to be given the option to pay a bit extra instead of having to vacuum and strip the beds. The accommodation rate was really good value for money, so this was a minor thing and we would definitely like to go back!!!

Really nice stay, would loved to have stayed longer

Very helpful host, met us at the door and walked us through the entire property and explained everything to us, very easy property to get to, had everything we needed.

Honestly could not make any genuine complaints, really well furnished property, had more than what we needed. If anything, we found the pillows slightly small, however this could just to be a cultural thing as we don't have pillows that size at home.

Superb

Excellent location right in the centre of Tongeren, 5 min walk from the musem and square with Ambiorix statue. Spacious house, we went in winter time, must be very pleasant in summer on the terraces.

Be prepared that the kitchen is on the ground floor and the living room on the first floor. Possibility to eat in the kitchen but more cosy upstairs.

Great (huge) house, perfect location to visit Tongeren on foot!

To be able to access the property, you don't need a key per sé. It's a marvelous code-lock, which makes it quite easy to just up and leave without having to look for the keys. The house is huge, plenty of room and very well-kept. The kitchen has close to everything you need, including a good oven and a dishwasher. The 2 bathrooms are clean and big enough to share should multiple families rent this house together. There is a very cool drinks-fridge in the porch, filled with typical soda's, water, wine and of course also beer, some of which is brew locally by the house-owner himself! Obviously these drinks are not free, but the price is very acceptable. A baby cot including fresh sheets for the baby are provided, as well as bath towels and a nice bag of chips to enjoy during the evening with that beer. Location wise: wonderful! You can easily do all of Tongeren inner town on foot, as you are very, very close to the Grote Markt, and if you want to have a bit more of a green feeling (or need water fun during a heat wave like we experienced), the city park De Motten is less than 5 minutes-walk away! As for parking: you need to pay if you want to park right in front of the house, BUT next to the city park De Motten is a free parking lot so go there! Owner is very reachable and ready to help with any question. Lots off up-to-date leaflets available of what is currently going on in Tongeren. We will keep this location in mind for when we want to revisit Tongeren/Limburg!

We were sad that the rooms could not be darkened enough to have a good night sleep. We would suggest that the owner invests in better curtains, as this does dampen our experience a bit. We "fixed" it ourselves via DIY, but for future rental, this will improve the experience hugely! Also fair to add that this house might be less suitable for families with very small children, due to 2 staircases and the living area is already 1 staircase up - however, this can be solved if there would be children gates at the end and top of each stairway.

Perfecte ligging, alles op wandelafstand

De indeling met keuken beneden en eetkamer boven is niet optimaal, maar daar wen je snel aan. Wel veel trappenlopen dus😂

Goede locatie, comfortabel en goed uitgerust huis. En de vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar die ons goed geholpen heeft bij het zoeken naar een parkeerplaats.

Een geslaagde vakantie !!!

Ruim en goed gelegen huis in een rustige omgeving en vlakbij een park! Heel veel extra's in huis aanwezig: zowel in keuken ( kruiden , vaatdoeken, afwasmiddelen, koffiepads, ...) , ventilatoren in alle kamers , opgemaakte bedden, extra hoofdkussens, handdoeken, spelmateriaal voor binnen en buiten... Kortom onmiddellijk vakantiegevoel als je er(met 5 kinderen) binnen komt. Perfecte service van eigenaar(s)!

De vele voordelen in het huis compenseerden ruimschoots de (vooraf gekende) minpuntjes, zijnde + de keuken een verdieping lager (maar daar boden de aanwezige dienbladen hulp!) + het uittrekbed in een ruimte waar geen verduistering was aan de glazen tuindeur

Top locatie om Tongeren te ontdekken

Vriendelijke ontvangst, top locatie, toffe woning met alles wat je nodig hebt. Ideaal om Tongeren en omgeving te bezoeken.

Keuken en woonkamer niet op dezelfde verdieping waardoor je veel trappen moet doen. Maar dat is dan ook het enige minpuntje. Verder is alles top.

Comfortabel vakantiehuis

Alles prima in orde. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Met toegangscode, dus geen sleutel nodig. Goed gelegen op wandelafstand van de Grote Markt. Parkeren kan in de buurt, betalend of gratis op 5 minuten wandelen. Zelfs paraplu's zijn voorzien.

Enigste nadeel is dat je veel trappen moet doen omdat de keuken beneden is en de woonkamer boven. Voor ons was het een manier om de extra calorieën van het lekkere eten in restaurant Bøf kwijt te spelen.

Het was heerlijk vertoeven in Villa Domus.

Bijzonder hartelijk ontvangst door Ferdy. Hij nam alle tijd om alles uit te leggen en ons rond te leiden. Het is een zeer compleet, goed verzorgd en schoon huis. Gezellig in Paassfeer aangekleed. Binnen 5 minuten ben je op de Markt in Tongeren en de gratis parking is ook erg dichtbij. Leuke serre en een ruim terras maakten het helemaal af. Het goede weer hadden we zelf meegenomen :-).

Citytrip naar Tongeren

Heel proper,alle faciliteiten aanwezig. De inkom ( vroeger een kapsalon geweest) was zeer interessant voor het stallen van de fietsen,achterlaten van wandelschoenen,..... Mogelijkheid om ook buiten in de tuin te zitten en te eten. Op de gelijksvloer stond ook een ruime frigo zo moest je niet steeds naar de keuken,gelegen op verdieping -1. Heel goede service. We hadden een probleem met de frigo na 5 minuten al instructies om het op te lossen

Keuken gelegen op verdiepning-1, zo moest je na het koken alles naar boven doen om te eten. Keuken wel klein om met 6 personen te eten,ontbijten zou eventueel wel lukken. De verwarming op de badkamer boven werd niet erg warm.Doordat we deze niet zoveel hebben gebruikt ,werd dit niet gemeld tijdens het verblijf,want anders was dit door de host waarschijnlijk opgelost.

Zeer aangenaam verblijf, op wandelafstand van horeca en bezienswaardigheden

Zéér vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar. Onze koffers werden opgehaald aan het station. Alles op wandelafstand van het verblijf Heel veel comfort in de woning: alles was aanwezig om er een aangenaam verblijf van te maken. Wij waren er in de winterperiode, maar met mooi weer is het ongetwijfeld gezellig vertoeven in de tuin.
