What a gem! Gorgeous, well-kept place in an idyllic village near Maastricht. The apartment we stayed in was lovely mixture of traditional features and moder comforts. And the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. A truly dog friendly place to stay. Will definitely go back if travelling in the area.

Short but pleasant

Location wise it is perfect for hiking and cycling trips. The host Eva was also welcoming and had provided vlaai in the home. There is a handy parking facility behind the property.

It felt smaller, because there wasn't much light that entered the rooms (small windows). Although we had paid for linnen and towels, we had to ask for them, beds weren't made up nor were towels/bedlinnen present. There were also cobwebs hanging below the dining room chairs, so it seemed as though it wasn't dusted in a while.

Fantastic reception with a nice piece of traditional Limburg vlaai! Very friendly and helpful owner. Beautiful location and very quite. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Great to stay in a traditional Limburg farm.

Mooie plek maar slecht doordacht qua inrichting

Authentieke vakwerk boerderij op mooie lokatie in aardig dorp.

De smalle wenteltrap naar slaapkamer en badkamer was gevaarlijk vanwege ontbrekende leuning ( hier hing een touw, niet zichtbaar op de foto’s). Het bed was met 1.40 m te smal voor de twee aangeleverde dekbedden. Ook ontbrak een gordijntje bij de deur en bij het keukenraam zodat je ‘s avonds te kijk zat ….

Fijne kleine knusse studio, gastvrije host, heerlijke wandelomgeving!

Gastvrijheid van host, omgeving, sfeervol vakwerkhuisje, mooie decoraties (kerst), prachtige omgeving om te wandelen, en prima restaurantjes / eetcafe in het dorp.

Omdat de (kleine) slaapkamer wat schuin loopt, beetje lastige bocht aan een kant om het bed heen bij uitstappen. Wenteltrap beetje wennen ;-) Verder niets.

Rust in de Limburgse heuvels

Het lieflijke huisje op een prachtige plek, de rust, het fijn ingerichte huisje, de privacy...

Geen echte tegenvaller hoor, maar vond de slaapkamer wat krapjes. Als je er met z'n tweeën in staat heb je weinig bewegingsruimte, maar dat is niet onoverkomelijk en kan makkelijk weggestreept worden tegen alle pluspunten.

Mooie locatie, in de hoeve een aantal appartementjes rond de binnenplaats. Mooi ingericht en schoon. Goede uitvalsbasis voor mooie wandeltochten.

Prima uitvalsbasis voor een korte wandel- of fietsvakantie in de Limburgse heuvels.

De Witte Olifant is een prachtige oude monumentale boerderij op een hele fraaie en rustige locatie. Wandel- en fietsroutes beginnen letterlijk voor de deur.

Het tweepersoonsappartement waar we in verbleven vonden we donker en de badkamer was te klein. De wastafel was een toilet fonteintje. Uitzicht heb je eigenlijk ook niet en met lekker weer bij je appartement buiten zitten kan eigenlijk ook niet. Het "bistro zitje"is daarvoor niet voldoende.
