Siisti ja viihtyisä huoneisto. Ihanaa, kun huoneistossa oli ilmalämpöpumppu viilentämässä. Kaunis ympäristö ja loistava sijainti.
Suihkutila hieman ahdas, mutta ei haitannut minua kummemmin.

Hyvät sängyt ja tyynyt. Keittiö oli varusteltu hyvin tarpeisiimme nähden. Pakastin on, joten kylmäkallet saa jäätymään. Hyvin rauhallista oli.
Pikkuruinen kylpyhuone, mutta kyllä sen kanssa pärjäsi. Aika voimakkaan tuoksuista pyykkiainetta käytetty liinavaatteiden pesussa. Allergisille voi tulla ongelmaksi.

The host was very gracious. He was staying on the property and met us immediately as we arrived. He also arranged the use of the washing machine and dryer in the basement, something we desperately needed at the time. The location is good, as was the parking. About the town: we enjoyed eating at the harbour market, even when the weather was cool, cloudy, and rainy.
The accommodation was dated and, especially, the basement with the washing machine could use more tender care. Not about the accommodation, but about the town of Savonlinna: we arrived at the busiest time of year which makes it difficult to get to the famous castle without having to park very far away. As senior citizens, we were disappointed we weren't able to walk the distance needed to get from the nearest parking spot to the castle. Perhaps the town could arrange and promote a shuttle service to and from the castle? Or did we miss it?
