Hot Springs Village Arkansas on Lake Desoto

We had a great time. This property was first class. It was peaceful and everything was accessible.

Enjoyed our stay immensely and our host was available for any and all questions during our stay. He gave us great information on the area and has maps and local attraction information in the living room. We enjoyed kayaking right from the boat dock and were able to catch some bass from the dock as well.The area has plentiful hiking/biking/boating trails around the lakes and we used most of them during our stay.The upstairs living area, kitchen and half bath are at street level when you enter. The upstairs deck was a wonderful morning and evening location for watching the boats going by, sunrises and sunsets.The downstairs two bedrooms, full bath and laundry were very comfortable and the temperature ran cooler than the upstairs.The lower covered patio is directly connected to the boathouse and one of the bedrooms.We were able to get to Hot Springs National Park, Lake Catherine and Ouachita State parks with a short drive.We plan to go back in the fall/winter to explore the area more. We traveled with our two small dogs and there are a few areas right outside the building for them to relieve themselves.It was just the two of us and our dogs but this home could readily accommodate more people.The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of counter space for preparing meals. Versatile appliances included an air fryer and a coffee maker that did drip and kcups.Fishing gear was provided, however we brought our own. Loved the stay!

This place is a little slice of heaven. What a beautiful home and so tranquil. During the rush of life this is just what we needed. I also need to give the biggest shout out to the host. I have never came across a host that is so responsive and had great conversations with. I will be back 100%. Top of the memory list for us. I cannot thank the host enough for sharing this home with us.

We had a fantastic stay! Absolutely loved the location. Having the kayaks available was such a nice bonus. The kitchen is well-equipped, and I really appreciated the coffee pods provided. The place was comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back.
