Lots of space. Large dining table. Lots rooms. Fun learning to use Aga. Good to have piano.

A tray would be very useful due to size of kitchen. Also larger fridge/freezer. Bed in ‘Rose-bud’ room sagged

Very impressive. Superb venue for my Dad’s birthday and getting all the family together. Beautiful surroundings. Would definitely come again.

Only a couple of very minor things. Could do with a couple more dish towels and serving bowls. Perhaps a bigger fridge.

This place is HORRIBLE. Not at all as pictured on the inside. DIRTY, smelly, not cleaned. There is little to like apart from the location. What a shame.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is not as advertised. We found the home filthy and digusting. Carpets upstairs throughout the rooms were stained, the carpets were not fixed properly or safely to the floor. The bathrooms were stained, rusted, and not functioning properly: one toilet had a constant leak and even had a plastic box placed underneath to collect the water that leaked every time you flushed. The shower upstairs was not fully functioning: half of the shower was not working and knobs were missing, and it was not cleaned properly -- the shower had the soap from the previous person who stayed there still in the shower and you can clearly see it was not cleaned, nor was the tub in this bathroom. The towel in this bathroom was still wet from whoever used it previous to our arrival and was not replaced or removed! We found dirty socks on the landing, dead bugs all over the vents and throughout the home including bees, spider webs not cleaned out, lots of dead bugs around the windows everywhere. The beds were horrifically old, creaky, and uncomfortable. The furniture was old and the floors were often slanted so you couldn't even place items on a table correctly. Unbelievable how this home has even passed any kind of inspection to be allowed to be rented out! There were very smelly flowers placed throughout the home, but the best part were the DEAD FLOWERS with nasty water that hadn't been changed in weeks it looked like in the house greeting you. Unreal. The internet was almost nonexistant. The directions were unclear, and a binder -- similarly old and filthy even had a page with mystery brown stains on it. We were shocked. We tried communicating through booking.com numerous times and have always been ignored. We tried getting different accommodations and couldn't so were forced to endure this horrific place for 2 nights; we could not make full use of this as we could not stand it during the day.

The house was a great size and really nice for our group.

Didn't find anything we didn't like.

The rooms are spacious, the ceilings are high, the decor compliments the exterior and the grounds are expansive. We also loved the wood burning stove in the vestibule.

The grand piano is out of tune. I understand that it would be difficult to keep it in tune due to varying temperatures and lack of frequent use but it might be an idea to service it annually.
