Pros & Cons•Kitchen – Very well equipped! Lots of festive plates and bowls, coffee mugs, wine glasses, PLUS two great raclette grills (and outdoor grill too!). We made great use of all.•Emilie also secured an extra high chair and portable crib for us – so we had TWO of each. SO helpful!•Living dining space open room with loft game room (with good, protective railing-good for “littles,” ages 1 and 3). Game room with dart board and pool table had lots of use by grandkids and adults! Hot tub great!•4 Bedrooms downstairs met our needs. The bedrooms had excellent automated room darkening shades. (darkening shades are much needed with long daylight hours!) •Laundry room with drying racks in addition to dryer very helpful.•Greatly appreciated help and recommendation about the multi-pass for the area. That truly was a huge money-saver - many activities appealed to our group. Included FREE access to Chatel gondola as well as more chair lifts in nearby towns. We also took advantage of the FREE miniature golf, trampoline jumping and discounts for adventure climbing park, etc.•Chatel was a fun community with easily accessible restaurants, patisseries, and lots of activities close-by. We really enjoyed great hiking being so easily accessible! Con’s•Only ONE parking space is available for this house. •Not all fees clarified up front. 3 weeks before arriving I learned there would be a fee for linens and cleaning. •Smoke detector?? Listed on “amenities” Not found.

We were a group of 10 with an age range of 10 to 69 years. The chalet was ideal for us all (we are all fit and mobile). Check in was very good and easy, facilities were as described, it all made for a very enjoyable stay in Chatel. We will be looking to stay in Loutsa again.

Excellent accommodation, as described and lovely and warm. Kitchen well supplied with plates, pans ext. Hot tub and pool table a really bonus on a snowy/windy no ski day. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Position, 15 min walk from Chatel centre but UP hill. Bus service excellent so we used that.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The chalet is superb, clean, modern & well equipped. The host was brilliant, and even managed to get the oven fixed in <24hrs when it broke down! We have already re-booked for next year!

If only...

Unfortunately our trip was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. Caroline has been very helpful and accomodating, providing a full refund. We look forward to visiting Chatel and staying in the property in the future. PS I'm sure the property would have warranted all the stars!

We pass 1 week in this wonderful place ! All the description is conform and the chalet is even smarter in reality ! The equipment is complete , the 5 rooms are comfortable , and the 4 bathrooms are more than pleasant for morning hurry or after ski ;-) We also appreciate the trendy decoration keeping the mountain ambiance with modernity ! the chalet is close to the center 15 min by walk or 2 min by bus (bus stop at 50 m ) and it give access to the super chatel ski and even to "Les portes du soleil" 600km ski ! We will come back for sure !

Un très bon séjour dans ce très beau chalet. Déco soignée, tout est bien organisé. Le salon et la cuisine / salle à manger sont très conviviaux. Un espace extra avec les amis et enfants. Chalet bien placé, pour côté de la navette tous les 15 min pour monter au village et télécabine. Nous avons loué en plus les skis en haut du village, ultra pratique pour ne pas être encombré) Envie de louer de nouveau l’année prochaine

Le chalet Loutsa est très spacieux bien agencé, fonctionnel très propre et super bien équipé. Nous étions 3 couples avec 4 enfants et chacun avait son espace. La pièce de vie est très agréable pour se retrouver ainsi que la mezzanine avec le billard. Le jacuzzi est un vrai moment de plaisir. La vallée et les activités proposées à Châtel sont très variées. Nous avons passé un super séjour détente merci

Le chalet et superbe, l'emplacement est top à 15 minutes à pied de la place principale mais la navette passe à 2 minutes. Le chalet est spacieux et les espaces sont bien séparés avec un salle d'eau pour chaque chambre. Pour finir le jacuzzi permet de se détendre en fin de journée. Un très beau séjour.

Chalet très confortable, avec tous le nécessaire pour passer de bons moment. Le billard, jeux de fléchettes et jacuzzi ont permis de passer du bon temps entre amis. La cheminée est aussi un plus! La propriétaire est accueillante, avec même une petite attention appréciable à notre arrivée;)

Excellent séjour !

Après une année toute particulière, nous avons pu nous retrouver en famille pour Noël dans ce merveilleux chalet. Tout nouveau, très spacieux, très bien équipé, avec des prestations d’excellente qualité, le chalet était un lieu parfait pour fêter Noël : la cheminée, le jacuzzi, le billard et l’accueil chaleureux nous ont comblés. Nous étions 9 mais nous aurions pu être 12 sans aucun soucis. Étant donné les restrictions sanitaires, nous n’avons pas pu skier en France, mais nous avons pu faire des raquettes, des promenades,... le tout nécessitant voiture ou bus. Au final, un très beau lieu pour une excellente semaine pendant laquelle nous avons pu nous retrouver et nous ressourcer en famille.

Très beau chalet, très bien agencé pour une grande famille, avec un jacuzzi très agréable et des petits plus comme la grande malle de jouets pour les enfants ( nous étions avec une petite fille de 13 mous). Belles randonnées à vélo ou à pied à proximité. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans le chalet de Caroline . Le concierge était très disponible et présent notamment pour s assurer du bon fonctionnement du jacuzzi ! Le chalet est tout à fait conforme à la description. L’accès se fait par une volée d escaliers extérieurs en parfait état , mais qui ne convient pas des personnes à mobilité réduite ou invalidées . La terrasse est très agréable , tous les volumes spacieux ! Il y a également tout ce qu il faut pour ravir les enfants ( jeux, livres etc) Un chalet à découvrir !

Wir waren zwei Familien à je fünf Personen plus ein Hund und verbrachten eine Woche im Sommer in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Trotz der vielen Personen gab es genügend Platz und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Dank den Rolladen war es in den Zimmern kühl und dunkel und dadurch sehr angenehm zum Schlafen. Die Küche ist mit allen nötigen Utensilien ausgestattet. Das Haus liegt unterhalb des Dorfzentrums und ist zu Fuss in ca. 10 Min erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille dans le chalet de Caroline qui offre de belles prestations , très belle déco , très bonne literie , un billard qui anime les soirées , un jaccuzi très apprécié après une bonne journée de ski .. le concierge Franck est très réactif en cas de petits soucis ! Bref un lieu à recommander vivement et dont on gardera tous un superbe souvenir !

Il est toujours compliqué de choisir un endroit qui combine toutes nos exigences notamment lors de vacances hivernales. Le Chalet Loutsa est confiné entre les accès Châtel et Linga, en contre bas du village, sans vis à vis . Vous avez la possibilité de vous sentir isoler du monde avec une prestation hors norme , tout en étant à moins de 5 mn de tous commerce et autres accès. Le lieu est propre, bien agencé, les espaces de vie et autres bien étudiés pour ne gêner personne dans le choix de son rythme de détente...La possibilité de pouvoir profiter du jacuzzi alors que d'autres joueront au billard et le reste chilleront face à la cheminée en attendant les plus vaillants de retour des pistes , cela n' a pas de prix ! Prestation +++ Que dire de plus !
