We had a wonderful 4-night stay at O'Myosotis, and it exceeded all our expectations. The hosts were absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help with recommendations and advice about the local area. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the breakfast. Every morning we were treated to a delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented breakfast with plenty of variety. It was the perfect way to start each day and clearly prepared with great care and attention. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. We particularly loved the swimming pool and garden area, which provided a peaceful place to relax after a day of exploring. The location is also excellent, just a short walk from the historic centre while still being quiet and tranquil. Our room was exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was equally impressive—large, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, O'Myosotis offers the perfect combination of outstanding hospitality, comfortable accommodation, excellent breakfasts, and a relaxing atmosphere. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The hosts Claudine and Patrick are relaxed, welcoming and take time with each guest to make sure they settle in well. The property is finished to a high standard and the breakfasts are great. The garden and pool are a lovely addition, particularly in hot weather, and you can easily walk into town and return to the peace of O’Myosotis.

The ability to park outside the property and earlier than the check in was amazing. The location of this stay was perfect quietly located just outside of the town which is walkable to the town. The town was friendly, accessible with everything you would want. The venue was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented. The gardens and swimming pool is a lovely space and the outside seating area of which there are multiple were beautiful and very well considered.

Whilst we recognise that this property clearly prides itself on detail it was a disappointment that we did not have some of the basics which included basic toiletries hand/body wash in the bathroom, plus no toilet roll holder, but themed items which are not required. no tea and coffee facilities in the room whilst we recognise that there was in a communal area whilst we stayed this was used as an office so not that welcoming. We were aware there was no air con at booking but staying in other places it was naturally cooler, but our room was in the roof, this room should have air con or consider putting your guests lower as this was unbearable at times And we were not able to sleep, when mentioned we were told we are in the Périgord and this is not helpful. Please note we did not know this room was in the roof. Whilst we fed this back the proprietor said you were aware of this when booking. We had an issue of having paid for three nights having to leave one day early which was our issue. However although we had paid we could leave our car outside of the property but we had to give our key back by 10am. There was no offer to use the property for which we had paid for. This was not expected but as we did not wish to engage in an argument we accepted it and left. The only comment from the proprietor was if you want a refund then contact booking.com we didn’t and hadn’t requested this but it would have been nice to have the consideration about us that has been put into the details of the property. Overall on a holiday which consisted of four stops this was the most disappointing and the most expensive. It is a family who work hard and we were told that and can see that but we did not feel the welcome that they spoke of and told us of.
