Great location in a scenic Brittany town.

On the first floor above the central town square, two restaurants just below that close by mid-evening, so no noise from them, spacious apartment with a separate kitchen and dining/living room just next to it, a large entry hall, two bedrooms, one bath. Luxurious size for a couple.

It's a bit of a walk from affordable parking. The 24-hr, reasonably priced one is about three blocks from the apartment, and the streets are cobblestone so bouncing them along is like in-flight turbulence for the bags. The closer lot was too expensive for us to consider for our 4-night, 24-hour-a-day stay. Lots of restaurants nearby, but be advised most are closed on Sunday and even Monday. Look around and plan for dinner places if you expect to eat out those nights.

Great

Lovely spacious apartment on the first floor above a cafe right in the centre of town. Plenty of room with a nice open sitting area, a kitchen and two bedrooms.

The apartment could do with a little upgrade but the price was good. The bathroom was up a few steps.

Nice location shame about the lack of quality standards inside the flat.

Location was great as it was in the centre of the old town. The flat is spacious (we were 2 friends in separate rooms). It was cheap but if it had cost more it would have been a rip off.

The entry code had been changed but not communicated to me, resolved with a call. In the info received it said there would be free parking which was not the case, so that cost an additional 30 euros. Overall the flat was rather dusty and not well cleaned or cared for, furnishings cheap and grubby. The overhead rainfall shower worked moderately well as long as you only used tepid water, for a hot shower it was very weak water pressure. The black shower head was completely blocked and trickled out the sides - basically useless and needs replacing.

Good location.

The location is perfect in the old part of the town, right next to a boulangerie and restuarants. It is large enough for a family. Fridge and washing machine were nice to have on a long trip. The host responds quickly.

We left behind an expensive electronic device, and the host said the cleaner didn't find it, even though it was in plain site on a table.

Been to Dinan before so knew the area, good location and it provided an overnight base.

Location.

Only two chairs to sit on, or a dining chair - not very comfortable after a drive or walking around - lack of items in cupboards i.e., glasses/cups! Parking information provided which was helpful but having to pay when parking was initially included!

Brilliant, but factor in the parking cost

This is a spacious apartment with very comfortable beds, quiet bedrooms, elegant living room, overlooking the Place des Cordeliers and giving lots of opportunity for watching locals and tourists in the square below. It is right in the medieval heart of the town, with many excellent restaurants and interesting shops nearby, and lovely walks both within the town walls and to places outside, such as the Port and Léhon.

I haven't given it my usual 10 stars due to a last-minute announcement that free parking was no longer available, due to a policy change by the town council affecting all such holiday lets. So a three-day stay in the Hotel de Ville car park would cost an additional €38, for instance. Despite this, it remains a great way to enjoy a beautiful city, and I have already booked my next visit.

Wonderful.

The place was much bigger than expected. Spotless and such a beautiful comfy place to be with family. We would love to return as we only stayed one night. A lot more quite than I thought it would be given its central location. Kids loved popping just outside to get croissants for breakfast. The location is perfect in the centre of town.

There was no card for the parking as stated and the key code for the door changed from the original email we received. As we were travelling immediately after booking I had not checked emails to receive the new code which caused some confusion when arriving. Parking not easy. A suggestion of where we could park may help future guests. All amazing once we got in and parked.

Very good location in a very central square. The views from the living room are beautiful.

The kitchen and the bathroom were very dirty and ancient. The drawers and the furniture kitchen were very messy and full of useless things. In general, low artificial light. The livingroom and bedrooms were better.

Magical, romantic, historic…. Memories that will

The location of the apartment was incredible! We were in the heart of the old town close to restaurants, patisseries, shops and the art exhibition. The car park was so close to the apartment, only a short walk up the street and easy to access with the parking card that was so kindly included with the rental. Our host was so kind and helpful when we called to ask a few questions and made us feel welcomed. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and a well equipped kitchen which we did not use because there were so many beautiful restaurants to chose from. We loved the view from the living room, the big windows opened out into a square overlooking a few restaurants, coffee houses and stores. It was a perfect place to stay and we enjoyed every moment.

A disappointing work in progress.

Central location

No information prior to arrival. Standing outside the property we finally received the code to the key box. There was a parking pass but no information on how to use it so we ended up having to pay. There was no information pack regarding the apartment e.g. Dustbin or departure so we just left. The whole place was a work in progress. The salon was OK as was the bedroom we used. The other was due to have repairs to the ceiling. The bathroom appeared to have been started but was shabby to say the least. The shower door did not close properly and much of the paintwork was scratched and scruffy. The kitchen requires a major refurbishment and would certainly not pass UK safety standards. The corkscrew was broken and there was no breadknife.

Parking is not free!!!

It's an excellent apartment! Very spacious, lovely location, nice amenities.

The parking was not free! He left a parking card but it didn't work. We tried for several embarrassing minutes to use it entering and leaving both times holding up traffic and with people trying to help us to no avail. We ended up having to pay $26 for 2 days of parking and he wouldn't reimburse me. He said I didn't use the card correctly. He didn't give any instructions on how to use it and several people couldn't get it to work.

Even better than we could have imagined

Location, location, location, it was so central to all the best parts of this incredible town. It was huge and had everything we needed. So amazing. Finding it was a little tricky with our GPS but we just parked nearby and walked to find it from then on the free parking was easy to access and we had no problems getting around.

Just being a little picky but it could do with some new towels, the ones provided were a little thin and scratchy and the pillows could be updated, they were a little flat. Carrying our suitcases up the stairs was a challenge but we expected that.

Large characterful apt, would stay again.

Location excellent, right in the middle of Dinan & parking not too far away. Large apartment with plenty of character, children really loved it. Room with twin beds huge. Good communication with owner re: code/keys etc.

A few light fittings had bare wires and no fixtures. Towels could do with updating. Pillows very soft.
