Villa Marianna

Heerlijk rustige locatie op maar een paar minuten rijden van Alghero. Super lieve hosts die je altijd willen helpen en een heerlijk zwembad en tuin.

Room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and nice bathroom with a lovely shower. The highlight was the large terrace with sea views and lots of sun. I loved having my morning coffee on the terrace from the room's coffee machine and then reading in the sun. You also get beautiful sunset views over the sea in summer time. Bliss. The gardens and pool were immaculate and peaceful to relax in, and since there are only 3 rooms you are likely to have the space to yourself. Alghero old town is a 20 minute walk or a 10 EUR taxi which was perfect for us. There is also a vineyard 15 mins drive away which is a good visit. Plenty of beaches within easy reach by car. Finally the hosts were wonderful, super friendly and made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast was excellent - a variety of options - fruit, eggs, salami-ham, croissants etc. we sat outside under an olive tree!!! Lace tablecloth and chine plates - we felt like special guests. Our room with a balcony gave us a stunning view of the mountains to the west and we could watch the sun set. The property has a variety of fruit trees and is very well maintained. The pool is perfect for an afternoon/evening swim. Everything about Villa Marianna is perfect. And Monica is fabulous!!!

basic room, quite expensive for what they offer colored bedsheets- big minus for that one would expect to sleep in white sheets in order to be sure they are clean and feel comfortable
