Feels like home away from home. Best place to stay in Southport

I stay here every time I visit Southport. It feels like home away from home. It's spotlessly clean, spacious, well-appointed and handy to Birkdale and Southport. Great location and great value for the money and by far the best place to stay when visiting Southport.

Our stay was excellent.

We loved our stay at Grosvenor Lodge. The apartment was modern, spacious, clean and well equipped. We didn't need anything. The house and area was quiet and we had our own parking space. We have stayed at a few apartments in Birkdale and this one was the best. Also it is very convenient for walking th Birkdale village in the evening. All in all we had a wonderful time.

There was nothing that we didn't like. The apartment was gorgeous.

Pleasant quite retreat handy for local amenities

The location was quiet and the flat was comfortable. Proximity to Birkdale village which was handy for Metro station to Liverpool or Southport. Free access to Netflix. Good sized TV.

The flat layout would have benefited from a small table and chairs for eating meals. There was a very large sofa that wasn't really needed so the space could have been available and a table would have served as a desk. Not a problem with the flat we occupied but the flat above had a very noisy washing machine which vibrated the whole room when it was on.

Convenient clean and very comfortable. This property has everything you need and more. The bed is so comfortable ( as the saying goes to die for!) extremely relaxing. In addition the hosts are always available if you should need them for anything and couldn’t be more helpful.

Space, cleanliness, comfort of bed. Helpfulness of owner. Off road parking.

No freezer box in fridge. No table to eat at. Cutlery basic. No condiments. No recycling instructions.

Comfortable and well appointed flat in Birkdale.

A very comfortable, clean and well appointed flat. Despite being on a fairly busy road the flat was generally very quiet and although there was the inevitable noise from the flat above this was not at all a problem. Communication with the hosts was timely and clear and I encountered no problems during my stay. I would definitely be very happy to return in future.

The only thing I really wish the flat had was a freezer or even a freezer compartment in the fridge - in the current very hot weather we have had it would have been much appreciated. Otherwise there was nothing I would change.

Great value apartment in good location.

Exactly as it said on the Tin!!! Great apartment in superb location for local shops and the train station which we used to go into Liverpool. Station parking is free and £5.95 return for all day travel. The apartment is very well kitted out and very clean and the bedroom is large, light and airy. Some reviews suggest a small table would be handy but there is no issue using the coffee table and sofas. When in the area again, we will definitley be rebooking as more than happy with our booking.

Spacious and comfortable accommodation

No outside lights on the building. The tenant near the front door has cameras and makes you feel watched when in the car park. The building shakes when washing machines are in use.

Very comfortable bed. Also the lounge settees. Warm sunny apartment. Excellent bathroom facilities. Well supplied kitchen. Very well heated.

We liked everything. Important to know it is upstairs. We are older but thankfully fully mobile.

Excellent!

The apartment was really Big with high ceilings, nice & Comfortable. Extremely clean/Quiet & convienient - being a very close drive (4mins) to Royal Birkdale Golf Club. Parking was easy and offroad/secure. Birkdale Village is quaint with a great Restaurant ''Bistro Verite'' . Everything was straight forward with good instructions and only called the Owner ''Nigel) once to ask about heating and he was very helpful. Frankly you couldn't ask for more for the price. Will book again.

A very pleasant stay in a lovely apartment which was very well situated.

Great location. Within walking distance of Southport. Large bedroom with comfortable bed. Very nicely decorated. Kitchen area with everything we needed and a very pleasant lounge to relax after a tiring day.

We were told to park in space 5 but on the second day another car was parked there.

Cosy and homely

Grosvenor Lodge was in a great location for Southport and Birkdale village with great places to eat and drink. The apartment was very well decorated,spacious and super cosy, the mattress...absolutely 💯 great sleep! Kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking needs. Great value would definitely stay again.

There was nothing to dislike. Having long hair i would have appreciated a couple of extra towels.

Beautiful home from home

The apartment was very clean and tidy, was like a home from home, the pictures dont do it justice, the bedroom is massive and so is the bed, the sofa bed is very easy to pull out and very comfortable, to be quite honest me and my father couldn't fault it, very happy and a lovely stay😁 also needed to phone the owners briefly and they answered straight away very polite and very friendly over the phone.

only issue was noise from the upstairs, but that was just general noise.

Home from home!

Very large bedroom with loads of space for luggage etc. Comfortable and quiet. Great for visiting relatives. Key lock access so could arrive any time after 3pm.

Had to wash/scrub the mugs before using as they were tea stained. No instructions about heating. But overall a great place to stay!
