Villa Due Marine is a splendid and luminous apartment situated in a quiet location, at a short distance from the famous Piazzetta of Capri. It sleeps four people. From Villa Due Marine you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea. Villa Due Marine is 80 square meters (860 square feet). It features a panoramic private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the heart of Capri, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation and the tourist port. You will reach Villa Due Marine going up a public walkway that includes approximately 160 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Due Marine (and nonresident's cars are generally not allowed).

Villa Due Marine overlooks the so-called "red house" where the beginning of the '900 stayed the founder of the Soviet Union Vladimir Lenin, as guest of the writer Maxim Gorky (father of realism) who already staying in Capri, remaining until 1913, along with his partner, actress Maria Fedorovna Gelabuskaija. Gorky had met Lenin in November 1905 in Petersburg, in the preparation of the Bolshevik newspaper Novaya Zhizn ', and had supported Lenin in 1907, in London, at the V Congress of the Bolshevik Party and, when, shortly after, tsarism restores full autocracy dissolving the Duma as the governing body and Lenin was forced to move away from Russia in exile, Capri welcomed him allowing him to remain in a long stay who shared with the writer until 1908.
Terrace
The terrace is 30 square meters (320 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by an elegant retractable awning. It is equipped with armchairs, as well as with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea.
Living Room
The living room is paved with majolica tiles. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and refined, featuring some antique pieces, and include two long sofas. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a two-burner electric cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator without freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and other small appliances. There is also a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet), an iron and an ironing board. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea through a double-glazed French door. The room also has two windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room through an access area. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include an armchair and a desk. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a double-glazed French door. The room also has a double-glazed window with a nice view of the sea, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a safe. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room through an access area. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The room has two double-glazed small high windows, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a large fully-enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
