Great location and Cost effective

The placement of the property is perfect and it was cost effective. The caravan is spacious and has plenty of beds available with linen and a decent sized shower (I am 140kg and was able to fit in it) The site has a frequent bus to and from the centre of Skeggy so if you don't drive and have had to get a train in, it's super easy getting there. Honestly a great stay.

Unfortunately (this has now been resolved as the landlord has dismissed his cleaner) it was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The landlord was very responsive with this matter. The caravan itself could do with some maintenance/upkeep and it would be back to it's former glory I'm sure but you get what you pay for and I was happy with the condition of the caravan (except cleanliness) for the price I paid.

Wished there were 2 permits but some lovely residents helped when they found out we got tickets and handed us a second permit. The beds were quite squeaky when I moved but that wasn't a major issue

Location was great, caravan had everything you would need for your stay. Host had excellent communication and very responsive to messages. Great value for money.

Caravan felt bit cold but I am a southern softie! 😅 a fan heater was provided and warmed the lounge area up nicely.

Shocking

Caravan was very cold and not clean we stayed one night then rented another caravan at our cost no refund given all was clean after we spent our morning cleaning and handed keys back Sofa bed didn’t work and was so rusty Table was all peeling and walls Heaters didn’t work and when I messaged to say it was too cold they said just stick heater on 2 heaters for 4 rooms ? Also parking suppose to have 2 parking passes was only supplied with 1 and then when I asked for suggestions I was told to risk the fine or park in a car park that says no night stays

Was a satisfactory stay but the van needs some love.

Lovely location.

It just needs some work. There were big holes in the table and duct tape on the legs. The travel cot was filthy. I had to chase them up to get my deposit back. The veranda was broken and was a huge tripping hazard! The van just needs some good tlc.

Brilliant stay would recommend thank you

Nice clean caravan with all facilities needed, comfy beds and a large living area with lots of space very close to fantasy island and all local amenities (close to the beach, butlins, local bars and shops etc) just a short drive from skegness. All in all was a fantastic holiday home.

Some parts worn.. but this is only to be expected with time and general wear and tear from holiday makers coming and going.

quite honestly would avoid. very dirty. bad communication between cleaners and owner.

location was the only good thing about the stay.

absolutely filthy:- mould around shower, crumbs on floor, crumbs in toaster tray, muddy floors, beds quite clearly slept in and not cleaned, mouldy mattress protector and pillows, kettle in desperate need of descaling, cooker and fridge dirty and not been cleaned, sticky kitchen sides. overall the whole caravan is gross. we kept socks on to shower!!! owner arranged cleaner to come in Saturday morning (our second day) the cleaners were slagging us off not knowing we were inside still, then opened the door without even knocking! very old pictures on advertisement., the caravan looks nothing like the pictures, lots of damage since. owner promised refund but never received… didn’t feel we could complain to booking.com due to the owner taking £75 deposit and fearing we wouldn’t get this returned.

Great weekend away

James was an exceptional host. Recommended a restaurant that we visited which was brilliant. Everything you need is round the caravan park and also the sea front is about 10 minutes away by car. My family loved this little get away. Caravan was clean and everything we needed was provided (minus bed linensbut that wasn't an issue). Would definitely book again 👍🏼

Except check in time, everything else was good. It is very close to beach and super close to Fantasy Island Park and shopping centre which make it very convenient. I recommend.

Considering the host rushed the cleaner man to make the accommodation ready as soon as possible which I appreciate, the check in time was too late 4PM.

Fridge dirty, not enough cutlery, beds so uncomfortable. Double bed only had 3/4 mattress, mould on the bathroom blind, tap leaked, generally needs a good steam clean throughout and the kitchen utensils being updated. And, not one bulb in any of the table lamps and not net curtains, so no privacy!! Unable to park car near to the caravan..!To top it all, got ticket £60 when I called into fantasy island main office to ask where caravan was situated...only there 10 mins!! Poor communication.

On arrival, the caravan had been left in a mess by the previous occupants... the owner James was mortified and went out of his way to put it right.. cleaning team and brand new bedding were delivered.. Great location so we were happy 😊

it wasn’t to bad it was just for the weekend. I probably will stay a whole week if it was clean probably.

there was mould all in shower room had to clean it before using the shower and bed rooms was very dusty like it wasn’t clean before me and family tuned up I have children what has medical conditions like asthma and 2 of my children have hart condition and I wasn’t letting my children use anything before it was cleaned Properly the mattress covers was dirty like they haven’t been wash makers all over them as a cleaning company myself it wasn’t up my standards. who they employed as cleaners they need to get someone else to do it because they ain’t doing there job properly. And I found some tops off insulin needles so we had to do a needle sweep before anything just to be on the safe side. if I could put more pitchers I would.

Would have been better if the accommodation was up to scratch.

The pictures shown on booking.com were completely different to the accommodation we were given. The sofa bed was broken so we couldn’t even sit comfortably. The pillows and beds were dirty and blood stained. The bedrooms were freezing cold and had to sleep in the living room by the fire on a mattress. Good location but not what we expected from pictures shown.
