We both really enjoyed our stay at Lauren’s apartment. Everything was in good order and he checked in with us regularly

Uniqueness of the property. The outside terrace was fantastic. Excellent location for all the sights in Nimes.

Perhaps leave a few more coffee pods as a welcome pack.

An excellent apartment with amazing views.

The apartment was in an excellent location, right in the centre of the old town in an old historic mansion. The view from the huge balcony out over the rooftops is superb and we had swifts and swallow performing acrobatics in front of us. Although the bedroom was above a busy shopping street, the double glazing and air conditioning meant that it was really quiet at night. The kitchen area was well-equipped sufficient to prepare a simple meal and we had a big dining table inside, as well as one on the balcony, which is where we ate our meals. The bed was really comfortable and there was a very good sofa in the lounge area. The decor in the lounge was excellent with plenty of lighting in all areas and felt very comfortable.

Do be aware that it is quite a hike up the stairs to the top of the building and would not suit anyone with mobility issues. I thought that the really high standard of decor was let down by the toilet and bathroom, which were quite basic in comparison. The skirting boards and windows in the bedrooms could also have done with a clean. We also had an issue with the decor panel on the fridge door, which became detached from the front of the fridge, which made opening the fridge a bit of a challenge, but we coped. However, none of these issues would stop us from staying here again, we loved it.

Magnificent

The apartment was everything I expected. It was spacious, clean and right in the middle to access everything. It has a large balcony which was equipped with nice furniture and nice to have an evening aperitif. I definitely would stay here again.

Exhausting from lack of sleep , Nimes itself is lovely would definitely return but a quieter apartment

The property itself is a really good size, the kitchen has everything you need, the terrace is lovely

It’s needs a good clean, thick dust on skirting boards and under the bed, the 2 scatter cushions on both beds smell like they have never been washed, the patio doors are the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, in the bathroom are 2 soap dispensers and this is the first apartment I’ve ever stayed in when they were both empty, the noise from outside that goes on until about 4 am, it’s impossible to sleep, but if your going there to party then this is the place to stay, you are literally right on top of everything,

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment, and visiting Nimes. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable apartment right in the centre of the old town, so very handy for shopping, bars and restaurants, and the various attractions that Nimes has to offer. The terrace was great to sit out and enjoy the afternoon and evening sun, and watch the swifts flying around.

There was some building work going on in the nearby buildings which was a bit noisy at times. Sometimes awakened early morning with the noise from street sweepers / bin collectors.

Nimes - Super location

Perfect location in the centre of a pedestrianised area. The kitchen and living facilities are excellent and spacious. The shower is very good and powerful.The terrace overlooking the rooftops is sunny and quiet. The historic building is a bonus. The personal meeting on arrival is very nice.

An absolute gem 🥰

Absolutely loved it here. Can't fault the place. Location, comfort, facilities, air con was such a relief!!! Beds were so comfy, plenty choice of bedding and towels. Excellent kitchen facilities. View onto the rooftops was amazing. Sitting looking over them at night or in the morning was just perfect..... shame we had to go home!

A dream vacation!

Due to special festivities in Nimes, bus circulating could not access ‘facilities area’ but “hostess was kind enough to meet us, with a great smile and kind help to walk us “home” Julie and Lawrence, showed us the way around pointing out the best places to visit, arriving at the building, gave us a hand with some of our luggage (3rd floor) which in our opinion is the best and explained in detail how to operate their appliances Spacious kitchen, living, dinning and the best view on the Terrance!!!! Bed were excellent, we would of request stay longer but previous arrangements were not possible to change The historic area is one of the best in France, in my point

Every Roman ruin, Fountain gardens, food, the terrace with a glass of wine in the evenings and a cup of coffee in the early mornings, sunsets birds flying

Excellent central location in historic Nîmes yet a comfortable short walk from the train station. Whilst the building is extraordinary with its well documented history, the apartment is spacious, light and meets every conceivable 21 st century expectation in terms of equipment, facilities and comfort, (apart from a lift to the second floor, doubtless for good reason) it retains the identity of an historic building with choice of authentic floor tile designs, framed photographs and rooftop view from its private terrace within the aesthetic of pared-down contemporary elegance of kitchen and bathroom fittings and lighting.

Absolutely nothing negative to report about the property. However, for anyone less than able to climb ancient stone steps to reach the second floor plus another flight immediately on gaining entrance to the apartment, this would present a challenge and maybe should be pointed out. Fortunately for two sprightly septuagenarians this was part of the experience!

So good, all round.

For a small family, the space was excellent. Location in the pedestrian zone in the centre of town was ideal without having a car to take into account. Very clean and well kitted out for a short break. Our host was very kind, friendly and professional, communicated quickly and went out of their way to help with questions about the area, trips and more.

Absolutely nothing. If anything, the photos of the place do it a disservice and underplay how good it is.

Nice appartment with beautiful view and great kitchen. The airco was bad though.

Great location to explore the city from. Entrance and roof terrace view were really cool. Introduction was friendly!

Bathroom could be cleaner. Airconditioning too weak/old for the apartment and not cooling the bedrooms/living area. The fans were not enough for comfortable temperatures. Toilet was old and needed multiple flushes each time.

Exceptional

Ours was a last minute stay, and everything was prepared so quickly and was absolutely lovely. The location was amazing, everything was in easy access. The view from the balcony in the evening was of cats going across roofs, which made my day.

I would prefer if more of the pots had handles.

Très bel appartement.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'espace le confort la souplesse du propriétaire sur mon arrivée et l'accueil que j'ai eu dans ce logement.

Ce que j'ai le moins aimé c'est le bruit la nuit car malheureusement dans les chambres les fenêtres ne sont ne sont pas bien isolées au niveau sonore et donc on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la rue.

L'appartement est très bien placé dans le centre de Nîmes. Le logement dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. La climatisation est un plus indéniable pour faire face aux températures de la région. Je recommande vivement.

Le seul petit bémol serait la cabine de douche qui n'est pas très pratique sans être un énorme problème.

Tout s'est très bien passé ! L'appartement était propre, bien équipé, la vue magnifique, et l'hôte Laurent était attentif et agréable. L'appartement est en plein centre ville, proche de tous les commerces et des arènes ! Je recommande cet appartement, et j'y séjournerai lors de ma prochaine visite à Nîmes !
