Underwhelming

Good location to be central. That’s about it.

Room wasn’t properly cleaned. Kettle still had water in from previous guests, cups still had tea stains round the rim. We had no electric when we first checked in. This was sorted, but this should have been picked up when cleaning the room. When I first alerted the team I got “thanks for letting us know” with no word of how/ if they were going to sort it. Mattress is extremely thin. Quilts are the same, very thin. The hallways could do with a good vacuum as they’re very dirty, doors marked with stains and external windowsills covered in jars of food and drinks bottles. The bin in our room was also badly damaged. Obvious damage to rooms that just have been left. The rooms need a lot of TLC. The building needs TLC. We had no idea that the building was the hotel as numerous letters of “city space” are no longer on the wall. It was a total guess because we saw the keypad. Having booked a “deluxe” room I didn’t feel there was anything deluxe about it.

Nothing This place should be condemned, it’s worse than the mansion apartments round the corner which are just about as bad . They keep your deposit £100 for a towel never again I showed them the towels were only £34 after they said they were £80 then I never heard anything again AVOID AT ALL COSTS

WiFi doesn’t work properly, lock was hanging off which I reported and nobody came what a shock. Stayed a few times and every time in every room the baths have loads of brown sludge at the bottom when it’s drained so the pumps never get cleaned .

Bed wasn’t comfortable hard bedding could have been thicker and bigger it just fit the bed but when your partner moves, the cover went Maybe some extra bedding in room would be good Towels smelled damp and very thin Carpet had iron mark on it also carpet had ridges in it curtains didn’t close properly Last time we stayed we had an apartment which was nicer this time only double room was available

Literally a place to lay your head

Location was perfect for what we wanted to do, less than a minute walk from bars and takeaways.

Damp on the ceiling, stained carpet and only had hand towels in the bathroom. Tried to message someone through booking.com app about the damp as I'm asthmatic and I haven't had a reply as of yet.

Not good but we were not in the room for long.

The bed was comfy

Lack of communication. I emailed several times and had to chase a response. We were kindly moved to a room with a kitchen but it was completely empty so pointless. All there was was 2 cups. No plates, glasses pans etc so we couldn’t do any cooking. Completely empty cupboards.

How close it was to everything

I didn't like the fact that it is advised as a lovely apparentment, when I arrived it was more like a hostel, the shower was bodged, the curtains were stained, iron burn marks all in the carpets & to top it off at half 7 this morning I had 3 foreign men trying to get into my room! How they got the code for the downstairs door is beyond me but if your a female and staying alone I would recommend everywhere else but here; I left my trip scared and anxious! Worse place IV every been to!

We didn’t stop at the premises , we managed to find then get into the room , but there was a real foul smell which we could not stand , luckily we found some where else to stay that afternoon

Room far too small . Sat a side two clubs noise so loud I couldn’t hear tv , this not mentioned . No fridge.i wanted an apartment. Room 5 is shocking bad not worth £85 . The cheap bed . Room for two … one milk . ? . Iv stay in other room here and far far better and paid less . This room need ripping out .

Great Night Out in Doncaster

Rooms are spacious, warm, clean and comfortable. It is a great location, right in the middle of town. TV was excellent. The Weatherspoon's pub opposite is great for cheap breakfast and drinks, plus two excellent cafes nearby for great food. Parking on Market Street Car Park for overnight parking is a little complicated but reasonably priced for overnight parking.

We had to chase to receive confirmation of the main door and room key access codes after the promised 13:00 check-in, which was concerning. Disappointingly we could not have an early check-in on at least one of the rooms to leave our luggage. Shower only provided lukewarm water.

Its a scam

Just the location is good

Its a scam i booked this property because its says checkout is 00:00 but after i booked they emailed me and said checkout is at 11:00 morning 13 hours difference and i called the just give excuses about booking.com problem and i couldn't even cancel it because they wouldn't give me any money back so you can say its literally is a scam. And the room when i opened the door i could just feel all the room smells like toilet and because the wall and just like paper i couldn't sleep until 4 at am because of the people in next room music my worst experience ever and will never book from them again and not recommended for anyone.

The location was spot on for the city centre

We booked 3 rooms one room had no electricity at all. It took 4 attempts for someone to answer the the phone regarding this. Although when finally answered the repair was prompt.

Most upsetting experience ever.

It was awful, so unprofessional and disrespectful, my room was used as obvious stains on cushions, counter tops and the most disgusting was all over the bathroom sink, toilet and shower. Me and my little one ended up leaving on the night to get back home because it was so noisy and uncomfortable, actually quite scary with screaming noises outside etc, also not to mention that it sits between two pubs but the rooms are NOT sound proof or quiet. Really awful experience. So much more to say just too upset to talk about it. Never met the hotel staff. No proper check in or anything. The cleaner gave me the key etc. it was terrible. No refund either.

Great if your deaf!

Room was up several sets of stairs. Room was bit smelly and the area outside the room very strong smell of fag smoke. Arrived at around 15.30 and the noise from the local pubs was loud outside,on the way to the room and in the room. Which continued till 3.30 am. Could feel the walls vibrate with the bass lines from the music.

Good location.

Brilliant location, right in the centre, walking distance to everything. Easy entry with code and key safe.

It was tired and old, the quilt was thin, the bed hard, 1 thin pillow, no hair dryer. The landing stunk of smoke the towels and bedding did too. Carpets were dirty, cups dirty kettle needing descaling and the milk was off.
