The bed was a little bit too hard for me that was the only thing.

Just a glorious, sympathetically restored bolt hole that had everything I needed.
I found the double bed a bit too firm for my back but that very personal circumstances- I’m sure others will find it just right

We stayed here 19 years ago, and decided to return. Everything was exactly the same as previous. The accommodation is extremely well kept and maintained to a high standard.
It's slightly smaller than "The Pend" next door but the kitchen in The Precinct House" is stunning with a large Electric Aga which I've loved cooking on. Shower room/Toilet is very neat and tidy. And upstairs both bedrooms are beautifully decorated. We will go back a little bit sooner next time.
My only complaint which doesn't bear anything against the owner is the previous people who left on the morning we arrived left a greasy frying pan unwashed and put it back into the pantry.

The Precinct House is a lovely Georgian property, it has a really nice atmosphere and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Whithorn is ideally situated for touring the region and has walks from the door.
