About this house rental
Located just 2 km from the splendid natural pools of Marina Serra, the "pajara" was an ancient country house, used by farm laborers of the early 1900s, as a stable, storage of work tools, as well as a resting place and sheltered from the weather.
It was renovated in 2013 with great care and attention to detail and materials in order to preserve its original characteristics, while at the same time offering maximum modern comfort for your holidays.
Equipped with double bedroom with bathtub and fireplace, living room with kitchenette, fireplace and double sofa bed, bathroom with stone shower and cocciopesto sink, also has air conditioning in all rooms, free wi-fi, outdoor areas equipped with sun loungers, tables with chairs, barbecue and shower. We offer a maximum of 10 beds suitable for couples, families, groups and larger groups, as it is located within a large garden of about 3 hectares completely immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, a stone's throw from the sea of Marina Serra di Tricase, resort famous for its crystal clear waters, for its springs and above all for the presence of a natural swimming pool carved into the rock, with free access.
Of particular interest is the presence, inside the garden, of a majestic 17th century Vallonea oak.

Our stay in Don Pippi was fantastic! The house was perfect and very clean, the garden and outside sitting area just wonderful. Francesco was a wonderful host and we found some fresh tomatoes, delicious olive oil and typical bread upon arrival. Francesco explained us how to prepare and eat the typical bread and it was outstanding! We specially loved the fig tree in the back of the house and had a perfect fig breakfast each morning. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house and will come back for sure! Tante grazie Francesco!

We had a beautiful holiday in Tricase. The house was decorated with style with all warm earth colours. Even though it was 36 degrees outside the house stayed cool with the airco. We enjoyed laying on the sunbeds in the shade of the large oak, it was so beautiful. In the mean while we had a view over the wide garden. Also our dog came along, who was very welcome. He enjoyed the garden and the house a lot. Furthermore taking a shower outside when you com home after a warm day is lovely.
Also tricase sursprised us. There were some tourist activities every second evening (markets, dance, art), further there were nice shopping opportunites and delicious restauarants (also in the harbour). Masseria Nonno Tore was our favorite, reservation is needed. The owner also gave us some good reccommendations. Therefore we had the chance to enjoy an amazing local party at Agriturismo Gli Ulivi.
Further we met the neighboor (Alessandro) and his family. A very hard working lovely man. We went to his farm to see his olive trees and to see where he keeps the bees. For the sand beach you will need to drive a little. We also enjoyed te rock beaches (bring water shoes), about 10 minutes drive from the house. We would recommend everyone to wake up very early (before it's too warm) to make a walk along the coast and afterwards refresh into the sea.
