Good location bad accommodation

Lovely large corner bath and plentiful supply of hot water

Very poor control of heating that was inadequate for the property. Very uncomfortable couches Uncomfortable beds Faults with facilities. Heater not working and faulty kitchen tap. Lack of instructions for oven which was complicated to understand operation. Very noisy due to doors left to bang shut in flats alongside.

A very relaxing stay.

Didn't like that there was no key/lock for the main front door- came back to the apartment and there was a teenager standing in the front garden who had come out of the fire exit of the arcade- public had easy access to the communal area of the apartments as fire exit to arcade was often open

Seahouses

We had a Family get together for a 70th birthday so there was 20 of us plus 2 dogs split between 4 apartments for 3 nights, there was plenty of space in 1 apartment for us to all gather together in the evening for food and party games. Location is fantastic you are literally in the middle of everything supermarkets, gift shops, takeaways, resteraunts, fish & chip shop, cafes, ice cream parlours, pubs, game arcade, golf course which the lads of the group enjoyed one day, crazy golf, the harbour which is so pretty everything is right there on the doorstep it is absolutely stunning. We all spent a day on the beach to play beach games and the beach is lovely, you can even take the dogs on the beach, its literally a 2 minute drive to the start of the beach or probably a 20 minute walk at a guess. We enjoyed a sunset boat trip out to the islands & lighthouses to see the different birds and the seals and learn some history which was great fun and a few of the group had an evening drive out to the Holy island as you can only access it at certain times whilst the tide is out and they loved it, we also visited Bamburgh Castle which is amazing and the views from there are outstanding the beach is gorgeous. We were really lucky with the weather it was clear, sunny and fairly warm for the beginning of September so tht made it even better, we also had a full moon whilst there and I got some amazing pictures over the harbour. All in all we all had a really good time and none of us had a bad word to say about the accommodation or Seahouses itself we all loved it and thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10.

Adequate for the purpose of the trip, but didn't represent good value for money. Sorry.

If you wanted to cook in the apartment only the basics were provided, so wasn't ideal. The oven was not set up for use (I ended up searching online for an instruction manual to get it working - no instructions provided in the information booklet). Wifi connection was slow, so trying to use the TV wasn't great. Wasn't connected to an aerial so no access to terrestrial channels Be aware that the directions for getting luggage into the apartment mean you have a long walk from the car park to the apartment, and it's not easy if you have to make multiple trips back & forth. When loading up at the end of the trip we worked out how to get a car behind the shops which probably wasn't right, but we left on a Monday so town wasn't particularly busy. One positive was the good communication we had with the owner, especially when we realised we'd left something behind, and we were able to get back in to retrieve it.

It was our second stay so we knew what to expect. Lovely spacious rooms, nicely renovated. Very comfortable.

No fault of the property, but the people next door seemed to spend all night running up and down their stairs , so the first evening we barely slept. Last evening/ early morning, the alarm went off in the arcade below for about an hour. Just bad luck I think.

No tea/coffee available, hard to find as instructions not clear. You have to park in a car park and go find the property which is over the Amusement Arcade. Gated entrance has no number on it bug does have apartment names which unfortunately are not given in the instructions. If we’d arrived at night we would have struggled to find the place.

Lovely apartment great location clean and well presented

Great location - parking permit to the big car park included - very clean and well presented - would come back here again but would request one of the flats with walk in shower instead - location was just perfect!

Stairs from living room up to the toilet then up to the bedrooms were VERY squeaky and made lots of noise!! Settee whilst looked very new was very low and uncomfortable felt like base support was broken as you just sank into it - wish we’d had one of the apartments with a walk in shower and not the one with shower over bath

Superb - cannot fault it

We stayed in apartment 2 (Amble) it was spacious, clean, modern and perfectly appointed. Fantastic location and parking permit must have saved us £50 over the week across the county (never had an issue finding a space at peak)! Lovely comfortable furniture with nice bathrooms ans hot bath and showers. Tea, toilet rolls were there on arrival too which was a nice touch, towels lovely and soft too. Loved not having to key too. Instructions for access were clear and easy! Katie was available if we needed anything via text too. Used the many menus provided for various take aways too - cannot fault it - would highly recommend.

There isn't anything we didn't like, if I were being super picky, we could have done with a bowl to make scrambled eggs but thats me being extremely pedantic!

Very pleasant and comfortable stay in a great location for exploring Northumberland

Excellent location at the heart of Seahouses. Whilst initially concerned at its location above an amusement arcade, our worries were unfounded with no noise disturbance at all. the apartments was spacious clean and comfortable, with good facilities.

Not a significant problem for us,those with limited mobility may struggle with the narrow stairs to the bedroom (bathroom located on the lower level)

Central location. Sea view. Close to harbour. Open plan layout. Light and airy. Lovely bedrooms. En-suite. Washer/dryer. Really clean and tidied. Had everything we needed. Parking permit was a bonus. We had a fantastic stay here. We loved being so close to all the amenities.

Open entry to the apartment block. Window safety locks/latches needed. They opened really wide (may be part of fire escape plan) but was a a worry with a small child.

The accommodation is situated in the centre of Seahouses and close to the harbour and shops. The apartment is big, very clean and well equipped. Although it is situated over an amusement arcade there was minimal noise disturbance.

Lovely clean 2 bed apartment close to shops, pubs and restaurants

Excellent location and apartment for a golfing break with my Son. Apartment was spacious and very clean and very close to all restaurants and pubs. Katie was especially helpful at retrieving some personal belongings which I unfortunately left in the apartment when leaving. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Northumberland

The apartment was ideally suited to our needs and the location was good for the harbour, for the coastal walk, for the shops, cafes and restaurants and for the buses.

We could have done with being supplied a towel in the kitchen and clothes and cleaning agent to wipe clean the kitchen / diner surfaces. I needed a window pole to reach the velux window to open it. This was not provided.

An excellent stay in a lovely apartment.

The apartment was excellent, beautifully clean and superbly equipped with everything we needed. Although there were only two of us the apartment would be ideal for a family of four as there were two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Although the apartment overlooked the Main Street in Seahouses, there was no noise from outside or from the other apartments. The apartment is right in the centre of Seahouses with easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants.

Modern decor and well equipped. Great bathroom with gigantic fluffy towels. Parking permit was a great feature Central location was excellent

Home away from home.

The apartments are really spacious and have all the facilities that you need. It was like a home away from home. There is loads of spade which is great for a large group booking as we did a birthday lunch in one room for everyone stopping in all the apartments and there was loads of room.

My granddaughter put my other granddaughter in the washing machine cupboard, so we had to block off the cupboard, maybe a childproof lock on the cupboard. May also be worth suggesting that parents of smaller children bring a travel stair gate. None of these things were deal breakers, though, as we are used to being creative with the little ones to stop them from getting into mischief.

Stay Right in the Heart of Town

The apartment was quiet, clean and well appointed in a very central location. There was a good range of cutlery and kitchen utensils. The rooms are spacious and airy.

There were no hooks /hangers to hang any clothes up in the single bedroom.
