B&B Zunderdorp

The property is amazing, we really enjoyed our stay here. The bed and sofa were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the entire studio clean and tidy. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on our own time and fresh eggs straight from the coop each morning. A big plus is that you can rent out bikes and use them for the entire stay to reach the city center and neighboring towns; it's a perfect combination of being close to the main attractions while also being remote enough to allow you to rest. The entire area is beautiful and it allowed us to experience slow living for a few days. Karen and Wilco are very friendly and welcoming and so are their lovely goats and donkeys. We're really hoping to return one day 😊

Nothing we didn't like, but a small recommendation - it would be great if at least some of the rent-out bikes had a phone holder and/or a basket. It would help tourists with navigating around better and having somewhere to put belongings while cycling around.

The host are very helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home! The surroundings are stunning and everything is very beautiful! Animals are lovely and bikes are provided to move around.

During the summer the sun rises very early, not having blinds in the bedroom makes your sleep a bit difficult early in the morning.

We had a wonderful and perfect stay in Amsterdam at Wilco and Karen!!! The room was really big, super clean, modern and comfy. Karen was so lovely and had a lot of tipps for us. Every day you got all you need for breakfast from her. The next bus station was 20min walk. If you have a car with you, it takes 5-10 minutes to the noord station. Uber also available. Very nice. The pets are so cute and made our trip even better. You feel like you’re living on a perfect farm. Really it was so wonderful! We will defintely come back if we will have another trip to amsterdam!! 10/10 - THANK you :-)

Absolute nothing :-)

The room (it is just one big room) is situated on a farm, in the middle of fields, and therefore very quiet. The windows have blinds, so you can darken the room completely. This is good in the summer, when the sun rises early. Getting the eggs directly from the chicken house and being in contact with the other farm animals is fun for the kids. It is easy to reach the center of Amsterdam by car and ferry (which is free).

We booked the room at this relatively high price, because it was supposed to have breakfast. However, only the things for the breakfast are provided. You have to prepare breakfast yourself - prepare the hot drinks, boil the eggs, bake the rolls, set the table, clear the table, do the washing up (manually as there is no dishwasher). This should be made clear in the description of the room - the shopping is done, but you DON´T actually get a breakfast. The sofa is narrow and not really suitable for two people staying several nights. There was only one duvet per bed, which wasn´t suitable for us (two parents, two kids). One more duvet was provided, but there should genereally be the option to get single duvets. If the kids go to bed early the parents only have the opportunity to spend the evening outside, there is no room inside.
