    The location of the hotel was awesome. The windows had the view just as shown in the photographs. Only thing missing was a restaurant.

    One of the cheaper options in Amsterdam. Quiet. Clean. A good 40 minute walk to the centre, but there’s a bus stop close by and the buses come about every 20 minutes. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

    The hotel is quite old and in need of renovation. It may have been considered affordable by Amsterdam standards, but I paid approximately *** for six nights, including breakfast, which I don’t think was fully justified. The bathroom drain was clogged, and the issue wasn’t fixed until the third day. The room itself felt outdated, with worn walls and visible signs of damage. The hallways were not particularly clean, and the hotel overall looked tired and worn. Breakfast was almost exactly the same every day, with very little variety or anything new. The selection was quite limited, and sometimes the breakfast area was so crowded that there weren’t even any tea cups available. The room was not cleaned daily. Housekeeping first came on the third day, and after that it seemed to be every other day rather than every day. On the positive side, the views from both the room and the restaurant were beautiful. The hotel is about a one-hour walk from the city center, which we often did, or around 15–20 minutes by bus. Overall, I wasn’t completely dissatisfied, but I definitely expected more for the price.
