Willa Blanca Zakopane

It’s quirkiness, like stepping back in time, so many interesting things from decades ago, around the villa and in the rooms. The facilities in the dining area were very good, tea and coffee making facilities etc. We didn’t order breakfast but we noticed others did, and it looked like a very substantial European style breakfast The owner was very friendly, but also not intrusive

Didn’t bother us but others may find the bathroom in the private room a bit tiny

Willa Blanca in Zakopane is beyond charming. It is a time capsule curated by caring and creative people. Is it for everybody? Probably not; some people look for more flare and modern elegance and that's fine. But if you appreciate charm and love the sense of place and soul that emerge when we surround ourselves with love, craft and heritage, then this is most definutely for you. One thing to consider for foreign travellers, is that our hosts command of English is rather limited, so level your expectations in that regard. I had a lovely stay at Willa Blanca and I highly recommend it. The personalized breakfast buffe is pure art and the hospitality is top level.

Spending my last night in Poland in a house that looked straight out of a fairy tale felt truly magical. Away from Korea’s tall buildings and city noise, this cozy wooden home surrounded by nature gave me a sense of peace I didn’t know I needed. Everything was so clean, tidy, and beautifully kept — just being here felt healing. It’s the kind of place that makes you think, “If I ever come back to Zakopane, I’ll definitely stay here again.” Every detail — the bed, the curtains, and the vintage items placed around the room — made me feel like I had stepped back in time. The room was spacious and warm, even cozier than the modern hotels in Kraków. I fell asleep wrapped in quiet comfort, feeling nothing but gratitude. As the saying goes, “When life gets hard, go to Zakopane.” This place was truly like something out of a dream — calm, beautiful, and full of warmth. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, even preparing the room early when I arrived sooner than expected. It was a night I’ll remember for a long time — a gentle, peaceful ending to my journey in Poland. 🌲✨ Było mi bardzo miło móc zatrzymać się w tak pięknym miejscu. It was such a pleasure to stay in this beautiful place. There was nothing I could wish for more — the only thing I regret is that I could stay for just one night. Beautiful and traditional with a lot of history. Marek was lovely, and the common areas of the house were like a museum itself!
