Top Hostel Pokoje Gościnne

To be honest- I really appreciate their work because I had emergency situation and need to have another hostel while I was in Zakopane, so I booked on previous day and got accepted and I’m really grateful to stuff. Yes, there was some minuses but I really enjoyed staying there and felt safe!

I was there during these hot heatwave days and really wanted some fan, it would be really nice to have at least one fan in each room!

Its location and its kitchen, breakfast was okay. The shower was in the room and it was very clean. The lockers are big.

The door of our room was apparently not supposed to lock. I thought that was weird.

The staff was friendly, they let us leave our staff and use the bathroom before the chek-in, explained everything properly. The room and facilities were warm, clean and spacious. The double bed was big and comfortable, although unstable while climbing up. We even got the view on the mountains! Location is perfect — in the city centrum.

Double beds were unstable (but comfy). Only sweet things for breakfast and no lactose free milk.

Location is in general good

Shared entrance with a restaurant which is constantly playing very loud advertising music. The entrance stairs up are very steep. It is worse, when you get down, because you can easily trip down, especially when its dark. The shared rooms are connected to each other, so all guests from the back sleeping room need to pass through the front sleeping room to get out, to toilet etc. Very uncomfortable. One shower for around 20 people, difficult to reach, 2 toilets.
