About this house rental

This home was built in 1910 and is just off of State Road 145. This spacious house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Enjoy the fire pit custom built by our son from the local creek rock. We are located just 4 miles from the French Lick Casino and resort and also 4 miles from Painter Creek, Osborne, and Walls boat ramps. Enjoy the local winery's in the area during your stay. Rent a boat for some family fun at the local boat ramp in Wickliffe just a few more miles down the road.

My sisters and I stayed at this property for 5 days for this year's sister vacation. The little house was just perfect for us. It was very private because of the way it set back off of the road. It was surrounded by trees, so very pretty setting also. The house had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the beds were quite comfortable. One of the showers is handicap accessible. We cooked several meals, and all worked out great there too. The kitchen had a dishwasher so not many dishes to do!!! It also had a washer and dryer, and we did some laundry while there. We would definitely stay there again.

I had some friends come in from out of town and wanted to get a place big enough for all of us and close to the lake. This house was really cute with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice kitchen and plenty of room in the living room for everyone to be comfy. I would recommend and would for sure stay here again. The host also had good communication with any questions we had! Nice yard and fire put tok.

Everything was exactly as advertised! Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything needed for cooking and grilling, air conditioner worked well (it was a really hot and humid weekend). Location was close to the French Lick hotel and West Baden.

We brought our kids, ages 12 and 14, here on the short fall break they get from school. We live in a rural area and wanted something that felt more like home than one of the big hotels. This house fit the bill perfectly. The large yard was private. We were able to swing and relax on the porch swing, cookout on the large grill, and sit around the fire pit at night talking and making s'mores. All of the attractions were very close and didn't take much time to get to at all. We enjoyed Fench Lick's indoor go karting, went to Wilstem Wildlife park for some animal encounters, took a train ride on the French Lick scenic railway and went through the corn maze and pumpkin patch at Bledsoe's Farm. We had a blast! Stefany always checked in with us and replied to any questions or concerns right away. This would be a great place to come back to for any season. We'd highly recommend coming here!

This was the cutest property I’ve ever rented. Pictures don’t do it justice! The yard is huge and beautiful. They have everything you’ll need during your stay. The property owners are kind and respectful. The house is clean and well loved. Beds are all really comfortable. We boated for the day, had a campfire, and went to the casino which is right up the road. One of the best weekends I’ve had in a while. We are already planning our next stay here!!

My small family stayed here for a small family reunion over the 4th of July weekend! We had an amazing time! We watched the fireworks over the lake on Saturday. On Sunday we went to look at the hotel in French Lick and had then grilled hamburgers and made s’mores and went for a walk around the beautiful wooded property. It’s truly like having an awesome hike in the back yard with a creek and neat rock formations. The next day (the 4th) we rented a boat and spent the day on the lake. The proximity of the property to the lake was awesome. That night we also drove to Louisville and watched the fireworks over the river from the pedestrian bridge. Needless to say, we enjoyed our time so much and loved having such a great and comfortable place to come back to sleep at night! The bed and bedding was very comfortable. Thanks so much for a great time!

Such a cute little farmhouse. Very convenient to French Lick and Lake Patoka. Everything is well stocked for an easy stay. The firepit area is great and we enjoyed some smores in the evening. WiFi is fantastic! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Stefany was a very helpful host and had everything we needed to be comfortable with our four-day stay. The property is very well maintained and the beds quite comfortable. It was close to all of our planned excursions and I would definitely stay again. Wilstem Animal Park was our favorite, Marengo Caves a close second and though we only got a few nibbles, Patoka Lake was a lovely surprise. We enjoyed a well stocked kitchen, a large gas grill and a fire pit with a very ample log supply. The food stores and necessities are all convenient. We recommend it highly.

We had a great weekend stay! Charming old home that has been updated with modern touches. Plenty of space and electrical outlets. Out in the country so lots of privacy but close to French Lick and Patoka Lake. We loved the fire pit! Would highly recommend for someone who is coming to the area.

Three bedroom, two bathrooms, full kitchen and full sized living room with lots of space and seating. Space in each room to unpack your suitcase. Gas grill for BBQ outside, all utensils for "eating in." I stayed in this cabin in the summer and was happy for the AC throughout the house. Smart TV with lots of viewing options. Washer and dryer located conveniently next to kitchen. We did not use the outdoor fireplace and seating because of hot summer weather.

Great experience. Good location for Patoka Lake, exploring French Lick, and Hoosier National Forest. Only suggestion is mattress protectors for all the beds. Otherwise - everything was great. Loved the porch swing!

We have three boys and this house and property was awesome for our outdoor loving family. The first thing we did besides pick out who was staying in which room was get our water boots on and go searching for critters in the creek next to the house. It was a huge hit! We had a very good time!

The house is in such a great location and so peaceful! It is on the main road but a little off the road with enough land in the back to make up for that! I highly recommend checking out the trails behind the house! My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Chad and Stafany were excellent hosts! The house is clean and perfect for a group of friends to relax for the weekend!

House was perfect for our family get away. Plenty of room for all. House was close to everything. We enjoyed a hike in the woods behind the house, go-carting in French Lick and lunch at Legends. Bonfire pit was perfect to enjoy the evening.
