Beautifully clean and well presented, with a fantastic rooftop area with large dining table, chairs and a wonderful sun bed - with room for three adults! Kitchen area had all necessary facilities - Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge/freezer, etc. Right in the centre of the old part of Chania so within easy strolling distance of everything. Very clear instructions from the host about gaining access to the apartment; so straightforward …
Only slight downside was one bathroom between all 4 adults (two parents and two adult sons) although this was clear from the description. Oh, and not that easy to park - but, again, we were aware of that.

This apartment is an absolute gem in the heart of Chania! If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in this beautiful city, this is it. The photos capture the apartment's beauty well, but it's even more stunning in person.
The location is simply excellent - very close to the port and the Old Town, just a short walk away, yet on a quiet street that allows for complete peace and relaxation. Everything you need is nearby - grocery stores, restaurants, and interesting shops.
The apartment itself is large and spacious with a wonderful homey atmosphere. The cleanliness is outstanding - and here's a pleasant surprise: a cleaner comes once a day to clean the apartment, which is definitely not something you can take for granted! The bathroom and shower are particularly indulgent, with everything you need including shampoo, soap, and even black towels specifically for makeup removal.
The kitchen is perfect and equipped with everything you need.
The apartment's courtyard is one of its most special features - a quiet, stunning space where you can sit with a book and relax away from the day's hustle and bustle.
The host, Emmanouil, is excellent - available, responsive to any question, and ready to help with whatever you need. He even left us wine in the apartment as a lovely gesture. There are also smart TVs that allow you to watch whatever you want.
In short - a perfect apartment for anyone who wants to experience Chania in the most pleasant and comfortable way possible. Highly recommended!
We loved everything, but there are two things that are important to be aware of:
Regarding kitchen supplies: The apartment doesn't have cooking ingredients except for salt and sugar. There's also no instant coffee. There is a coffee machine with 2 capsules provided. It's possible that if we had asked for more, Emmanouil would have provided them - we didn't try.
Important to know: The host has 2 apartments. One with a stunning internal courtyard and one on the second floor with a beautiful rooftop terrace. We stayed in the downstairs apartment and it was fantastic - direct door to the street, super convenient.
