Property is very remote with no nearby mart or accessibility to main road. Lot of mosquitoes and insect makes ur stay unpleasant and when requested they can’t even arrange more than one mosquito repellent. Language is big concern as each time u have to reach only via what’s app text. Asking for any additional service is kind of burden. Power and water supply keeps shutting down and you have to wait for it

Disappointing experience — unsightly construction and noise, periods of no running water, poor breakfast

Very disappointing experience compared to what we were expecting from Booking.com reviews and photos. There was construction underway in front of our villa making loud pounding noise for much of the day (without advance notice). There was no running water for some periods of our stay, and we contacted management but didn’t hear back. The starving the room was inaccessible. Towels were old and had holes. On the first morning, we ordered breakfast and waited 1 hr 30 min before deciding to cancel since we wanted to make the most of our time in Ubud. On the second morning, breakfast arrived quickly but the food was below average (unripe fruit, bland). There were some positives, like one friendly staff member we talked to. There was an outdoor refrigerator and water filter dispenser to fill up our bottles. The remote location was a good distance from central Ubud (little noise at night other than the room’s air conditioner), but a motorbike is a must-have since Gojek cars wouldn’t accept our ride requests as we were too far. Overall, I would not recommend this villa given that there are so many other nice options in Ubud.

Exactly like the photos! Clean and tidy ! Owner always on call via WhatsApp !! Fully equipped kitchen but missing a microwave. Team are always happy to assist and make your stay comfortable !

No restaurant on site , property has menu but the food ordered is from a restaurant so it gets cold ! The pump is quite noisy but you get used to it !! The pillows are lumpy , but the bed is comfy!! Would be perfect if there was a microwave , full length mirror and tv inside the room. Also fan outside where the dining table is as it’s quite hot outside!

The staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful. They helped my partner planned and executed my surprise birthday to perfection. Thanks to all Ubud Suarga Villa staff members for their help and a special thanks to my lovely partner for making this special day extra.

Awesome villa

The villa is in a nice village area close enough to central Ubud. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive, helping me organise both an airport taxi and a ride to Munduk with no hassle. Breakfast was delicious and the villa was very clean. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Bali!

Amazing villa

We had a great 3 nights at Ubud Mesari, the staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly and the villa is beautiful and comfortable. It rained for one of the days we were there but we still had a great day in the pool and relaxing within the compound and the lady even organised room service for us which we really appreciated. We were also able to organise a scooter with the villa to get into the centre of Ubud. There was a limited choice for breakfast which we didn't mind as we went into the town some days.

Great option for Ubud

The villa is small but gorgeous. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was silent. The breakfast was tasty. The accommodation had scooters to rent.

The only thing that wasn't ideal is that there are rooster nearby crowing from very early hours.

Nice place and lovely people

Staff at the villa was very lovely and helpful. They were patient and answered every query and, assisted with every request. Villa was very clean with a sizable room and a big bathroom. Bed was big with a comfortable mattress. Bathroom has a hot water supply which gets really hot. They also provide filtered water at the villa. The included breakfast and Bali coffee was delicious and so was the food. The villa manager also sent through possible options for itineraries or day tours even before we arrived which was very thoughtful. The tour guide we had (Dwi) was excellent. Thank you to everyone at the villa for making our stay so wonderful.

Amazing villa in a beautiful setting with a professional and caring staff

We loved our stay at Ubud Mesari. This experience gave us the true taste of Bali. Our hosts and their staff were almost like family and everything they did or said oozed love and care. The owners (Ketut and Galu) were always super helpful, friendly and available to help us with anything. They are reliable and respond to requests quickly. They have their own list of dishes that can be ordered on Whatsapp too. And the food Galu cooks is phenomenal. You must try her vegetable soup with chicken - an authentic and tasty dish. If you want to explore Bali with a driver, I highly recommend Ketut. His excellent driving skills, good English and warm personality make him the perfect guide.

More natural light and better light bulbs in the villa. Look for a new ATV program provider.

The property is beautiful, with lush green trees around. We stayed for 2 nights in Deluxe villa, wjich has outdoor swimming pool, fully equiped kitchen with water filter, bathtub, shower and king size bed. We made most of the property in the time we stayed. I would recommend to all.

We as a family had a fabulous stay. The beautifully decorated private pool villa is impeccably clean. The property premises too are beautifully curated. The kitchenette was a big help too where I could indulge in basic cooking of some quick meals. Owners Ketut & Galuh were always present to take care of all our needs. They had two cute paw friends Piku and Mickey who were such adorable friend's with our kids. Breakfast was very delicious with good choice. Our local Ubud sightseeing was arranged by them too. Our driver Wayan was always very informative.

The location was quite into the interiors with no quick accessibility to the market area.

The location is very clean, as is the pool. The villa is separate and you can enjoy privacy.

Breakfast was below average for other Bali locations, should be much improved. Although the location is on the outskirts of the city, away from traffic noise, there is a lot of noise from the surroundings: roosters and dogs, especially in the early hours of the morning!!!

Almost Perfect

The breakfast was excellent and room service was included in the price. The owner, Ketut stayed in touch with us the whole time we were there and helped us organize day tours, boat tickets etc. at good prices. The private pool was well-maintained and of decent size.

While overall the villa was clean, the bathroom is in need of a deep cleaning as the ceiling was full of dead insects and the toilet bowl was no longer white. Also, the bathroom window which cannot be fully closed is in dire need of a mosquito net.

One of our lifetime experiences that we will always remember.

Our host Ketut and his family did everything to make us enjoy our stay with them. They were there for our every single request and in any time. Our very special person there was lady Nyoman who took care of our meals and the property during our stay. Our baby boy was crying every time Nyoman was leaving the compound after bringing us food or something. The first night we left our boy with nanny to go out, Nyoman stayed there until late in the night with them just to make sure he will be ok. She is such a beautiful person and we even got a bit emotional when we were leaving. Ketut took us around to visit attractions and was holding our son every time we needed to leave him for a couple of minutes for the activities like swing, bath in temples, etc and our boy enjoyed staying with Ketut. He also arranged our Valentine’s day decorations that really exceeded all our expectations. I would recommend Villa Mesari to everyone who wants to enjoy Ubud and surrounding in a peaceful place at outskirt of Ubud, away from traffic and noise.

Honestly, we didn’t like leaving this property. We would stay there forever 😁
