About this apartment rental
Luxury apartment (110 m²) that sleeps 6, on the 2nd floor of the Le Grand Robinson residence, ideally located on Pigeonnier Beach; spacious unit with three exposures, rarely available for rent. Large south-facing terrace with a lounge chair, electric awning, and a 6-seat table.
The apartment features: 1 large master bedroom (1 double bed, 140 cm + 1 single bed, private shower room, TV), 1 bedroom (1 double bed, 140 cm, plus 1 single bed), hallway leading to the rooms, spacious living room with ocean view (with sofa, 110 cm flat-screen TV, access to the terrace), a dining room with a sea view open to the living room, a renovated bathroom (with a bathtub), a renovated and fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, coffee maker, etc.), a separate toilet, a laundry room, and plenty of closets and storage furniture; baby gear (high chair, travel crib, etc.)
Fiber-optic internet – Wi-Fi. Access via an elevator to a half-floor. Not suitable for people with limited mobility.
Private parking space in a secure parking lot at the base of the residence. Access to a covered and secure bike storage area.
The residence is located right at the foot of Pigeonnier Beach, with immediate access. Pontaillac Beach, its casino, and shops are 900 meters away; the thalassotherapy center and Garden Tennis are right next door; the Port of Royan is 1 km away; and the supermarket is 1.2 km away. A secure bike path runs in front of the building.
Cell service is poor in the apartment, but fiber-optic internet provides optimal connectivity.

Fantastic apartment with all the amenities. Lots of space, well equipped, best views of the beach. We spent many hours on the balcony during the quiet mornings and peaceful evenings. Excellent communication with the owner and special mention to the very patient Brigitte who despite the language barrier (we speak hardly any French!) showed us round the apartment on our arrival! Restaurants & shops a 20 minute walk to Pontaillac or 30 minutes to Royan. Supermarkets a short 5 minute drive away. It has been one of our favourite stays in France and we shall definitely return.

Booked the apartment for one week. The apartment is situated in one of the beautiful bays of Royan. Just cross the street (not busy) and you’re directly on the beach. Enough villages to visit but we have been here before and just wanted to relax on the beach.
Couldn’t think of any cons. What we linked :
- Very friendly host and easy to contact
- Private parking under the apartment
- Very clean large apartment/rooms
- Large balcony (1 bed sofa and diner table) where we had breakfast in the morning overlooking the bay
- supermarkt within few minutes drive
- bakery nearby
