Region:



The region is rich in historical heritage, as there are several old churches and castles to visit. Famous for its geodiversity with several fossil sites and other geo-monuments, like Dinosaur Footprints. This area is excellent for relaxation and for the practice of water sports.

Sesimbra, the closest city, is renowned for its Fish and Shellfish Restaurant. Aldeia do Meco is also another village nearby that has traditional Portuguese restaurants.

It is a fantastic place for sports and Activities such as Wind Surf, Kite Surf, Canoeing, Paddle, BTT, Hiking, Fishing, Paragliding, Diving schools.

For diving, Lagoa de Albufeira and Sesimbra beaches offer some of the most interesting diving experiences in Portugal.

There is also a choice of other local activities such as wine tasting tours, boat trips, dolphin watching, cycling trails and climbing.
