Deo Plaza Waterfront Luxury Apartments by Noclegi Renters

This was our second stay at Deo Plaza, having also stayed here last year, and we returned because we enjoyed our first visit so much. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of Gdańsk's beautiful Old Town and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. This year's apartment was an upgrade from our previous stay, with much more space and breathtaking views over the river and historic city centre - I paid significantly more for this apartment. The view was genuinely stunning and one of the highlights of our trip. We loved Gdańsk and the apartment's location couldn't have been better.

The apartment was beginning to show signs of wear and would benefit from some refurbishment. Amongst other things, there was ripped wallpaper, a crack in the glass of a picture frame, and the curtains in one bedroom did not fully cover the windows. These issues didn't ruin our stay, but they were noticeable. The most disappointing aspect was being charged 650 PLN after our stay for a damaged stool. We did not break the stool. We noticed it was already damaged during our stay, although unfortunately we did not report it at the time. Being held responsible for damage we did not cause, combined with what we felt was an excessive charge, left a very negative impression at the end of an otherwise excellent holiday. Overall, we loved the apartment's location and the time we spent in Gdańsk, but the post-stay dispute significantly affected our experience.

Beliggenheden var super god. Dejlig udsigt - til floden & Old Town. Skønt med altan og en karnap. Ingen støjgener.

Et minus, at man skulle hente nøglerne på et kontor ca. 800 meter fra lejligheden.

Location and cleanliness

As per other reviews, check in was not a clean transaction. As per instructions, I left the airport and traveled by taxi straight to address given to collect key, ( not at same address as actual apartment ) to be told that the keys is not kept here it is at the apartment ?. I then walked 10 minuets to apartment to then be told, no the key is at the place you have just left. A little frustrated at this point. Nobody knew what was going on. After 40 mins I asked for an update, to be told sorry the apartment may not be clean. Over an hour later somebody came with the key. Next thing. We had to try and sleep with the windows open as the radiator thermostats had been broken so there was no control over the heating. It was on full all night. I am a heating engineer, I know what I’m talking about. And to end our time at the property, the broken key/coat hook ripped my jacket as I gently brushed past it, so know I need to get it repaired. Lights not working. Skirting boards in need of repair. All simple fixes guys but not at other people’s time and expense.
