About this house rental
Prailles, a small village of 700 inhabitants, brings the calm of a country village. The grocery store can provide you with bread and basic necessities., 18kms from NIORT in the Deux-Sèvres not far from St MAIXENT L'ECOLE (10kms) in the heart of the Pays-Mellois, (8kms from the abbey of Celle), 50 minutes from Poitiers and its futuroscope, or from La Rochelle with its aquarium and beaches, the cottage is an outbuilding of about 220m2. This farmhouse dating from the 19th century and completely restored in 2020, in the rules of the art with its exposed stones, its paving in burgundy stones, its openings worked in cut stones; it accommodates up to 12 people (10 adults 2 children MAXI 45KG), with its beautiful living room, its 5 bedrooms including 2 master suites + 2 large bedrooms of 25m2 equipped with television will share the third bathroom each equipped with walk-in shower and toilet + a children's bedroom. We provide towels and bed linen free of charge, and, for your comfort, the beds will be made on your arrival.
The garden will offer you many peaceful places for a nap under the trees as well as the garden furniture will invite you to the shade of the lime tree in front of the cottage. The terrace of the cottage is equipped with a large table that can accommodate 12 people for a shaded meal.
The huge shed (110m2) houses the spa and some sports equipment, a ping-pong table, it can also accommodate your motorcycles.
We offer a free loan of a few bicycles including children's bikes that will remain at your disposal for a short walk in the forest or around the lake 2kms from the house.
In the hot season, you can access our swimming pool (10/5) all jumps and dives are prohibited, from 10 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. The spa (intex type) is at your disposal. We offer 20 kWh / day of electricity and charge the excess at the current rate.
That this place can offer all the modern comforts while respecting its architecture and its builders. The swimming pool is in front of our personal house, but it will be reserved for you in the time slots mentioned above.
We know how to remain discreet but are at your disposal to ensure that your stay remains an excellent memory.

Our experiences started well with the owners answering all queries promptly on the property before we arrived. The property is lovely with the property owners being very friendly and welcoming. The property is well laid out and very well equipped with appliances. Unfortunately the weather was unusually cold during our stay and the property took a little while to warm up, but in the summertime and hot weather this place would be perfect. There is areas to sit and socialise outside. The area is beautifully quiet being in a rural village but there are some beautiful towns within 15minutes drive.

This vacation house has everything you'd ever want for a relaxing escape to the South-West of France. The house is as clean as a whistle, and has everything you could possibly need. And if you were to miss anything, you can always ask the owners that live in the other beautiful house on the property.
Because they knew we were travelling with our 2-year-old daughter, they provided a childproof high chair, childfriendly cutlery and a travel bed for her to sleep in. The rooms are very spacious and equiped with linen and bath towels, and we even received a warm welcome basket!
The owner is always close-by if you need anything. At first we thought this was to check up on us, but we couldn't have been more wrong. He and his wife are incredibly friendly and helpful!
Next to the vacation house there's a barn with a hottub, fitness equipment, pingpong table, a boxing ball, barbecue set, some toys for little ones and even cute little plastic chairs for them to sit on.
There isn't much in the direct neighborhood, but then again: who needs anything when you have a fully equiped kitchen, a pool, a beautiful green garden and a hot tub?
