Quiet, rural, close to great walks
Dirty fridge but clean otherwise. Agent does not answer the phone so if you’re stuck and need help, you’re on your own. There is no signal when you get there so ensure and maps/emails you need are saved in advance.

Quirky yet very comfortable cottage. A remote location and very quiet. Cottage is small but well equipped. There were plenty of short strolls or longer walk on a doorstep to choose from. Our favourite was a visit to the Three Shire Inn.

The cottage had everything we needed and there were helpful notes left to explain how everything worked. The beds and general layout were great for us and the cottage gave us a comfortable place to stay.
I tried to have a shower but couldn't get any warm water - as we were only staying a short time I just left it until I got home. I'm sure if I'd needed help with it I would have got it from our host. The location is a bit tricky to get to and we were glad we didn't take our bigger vehicle.
