The house was clean, comfortable and it was in an excellent location. The property host Maria and her mother were fantastic.

Maria made the effort to come and meet us at the port when we arrived by Ferry. Although she had her car she guided us to the house and we decided to walk based on our luggage and easiness of the route. She then gave us detailed guides as to the best places to eat and visit and even offered a private tour as we hadn't rented a car which we paid her for.
We would recommend either catching one of the two busses (early morning or early afternoon) out to see some of the glorious nature and beaches around Skopelos island, or renting a car to go and see the sights as it is well worth it and we loved our tour with Maria.
We received complimentary Skopelos Cheese Pies for breakfast one morning, and they were delicious! We also enjoyed strolling down to the bakery for a coffee each morning to enjoy on the balcony at the house, or sitting down at the port.
It was absolutely lovely to meet and spend time with Maria and her mother. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and in an extremely quiet but convenient location with a quick and easy stroll down to the port. We were also close by many of the hidden restaurants that sit away from the main port as well.
We had a few rainy days and the house came with heating. The washing machine meant we could use those days to catch up on washing and organise our luggage.
We had a very special experience at Myrtia House and would stay again!

Breakfast of traditional home-made Skopelos pies were brought to the property at a time which suited us.
Location was superb; right in the centre of the old town and very close to shops, restaurants and cafes

Oh my goodness.. this property is just beautiful both inside and out! 100% would recommend making this your base in Skopelos town. The outside of the house is so picturesque, and only a couple of minute’s walk from the harbour etc. The interior is stunning, all the decor is really tasteful, comfy beds & the whole place is scrupulously clean.(Plus the air conditioning works a treat!)
Wish we could have stayed longer!
