Wonderful family trip to Tuscany

Lovely family villa with lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, and lounges to accommodate our family trip for 16 people. Centrally located in quiet village near Cortona which allows for easy access to Tuscany and Umbria regions. Caretakers Sonia and Orentino took good care of us (cooked for us one night too) and answered all our questions (via Google Translate). Their warmth, good humour, and kindness really added to our experience. We also appreciated the comforts of home (air conditioning, washer, dryer, multiple fridges, well equipped kitchen) and extra amenities (swimming pool, garden, huge backyard).

Suggest additional equipment such as a barbecue (for Tuscan steaks of course) and fans in the kitchen (to improve air flow).

food not included. Staff prepared a special dinner at our request which we paid for. It was excellent.

The power was turned off for one day by the power company. The community was aware that it was scheduled but we were not notified. It would have been helpful as that is the day we had planned to do the laundry and stay there for the day.

our family - 2 parents, 4 children and spouses with 4 grandchildren had a great time

spacious house, many rooms, many bathrooms, huge yard with pool, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, two family rooms - excellent for a large family (multiple couples with kids), Privacy for everyone, yet togetherness is facilitated. Great hub for daily trips in Tuscany - Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Sienna, etc.

There is a grill outside but you need to hire someone to operate it for you

Beautiful house in the foothills of Cortona happily absorbed a family of 17 !

It’s a wonderful property that just absorbs people in the best possible way - 9 totally beautiful bedrooms, each with their own character but all with beams, comfy beds and lots of space. The house seems to get bigger as you move through it with very thick walls, which meant that we (with 8 children under 9!) could sleep soundly without being woken by little bambini ! Kitchen is well equipped with two dishwashers - always useful with lots of people. Wifi throughout (including the garden and pool) was seamless, which was another huge bonus. The pool area and garden is stunningly well kept with loads of mature trees and shrubs. And all very safe for children which we loved. The local team were superb and truly helpful from start to finish. This is a real find.

Best experience of Tuscany! we had VIP experience and with family warm local touch at same time!

From the first steps of booking vila and planning arrival it was so great experience! Owners of vila provided detailed english guidance, location details, as well daily helped to arrange any detail with local family who are supervising vila and speak only Italian. We had late arrival - hosts offered to buy breakfast, so we had so pleasant first morning! Later local family was cooking local Tuscan meals for our big group and it was so tasty! Service was very warm and we had Italian family experience. Last dinner with BBQ on wood coal was a WOW experience. Vila equipment is great, cleanness perfect, location great - Cortona 10 min away, + other locations around, plenty of wine tasting caves, etc. Looking forward to come back!

Excelente estadía en La Toscana

Preciosa casa ubicada en plena región de la Toscana y a minutos de Cortona, con gran capacidad de espacios para alojar una familia grande como la nuestra (17). La ubicación de esta casa está muy bien conectada con muchas ciudades y pueblos de la región por tren, estación Camucia Cortona y por auto con alternativas de caminos rurales. Ademas de estar decorada con lindos muebles, cuenta con full equipamiento de cocina, laudry y un amplio y muy bonito espacio de Jardin y piscina. Muchas gracias Elena, Sonia y Orentino por tan buenas vacaciones en La Toscana.

Дуже затишне, красиве місце! Гарний дизайн вілли. Все зроблене зі смаком. Зручні ліжка, комфортні подушки…Чарівний сад. Це місце дійсно наповнене любовʼю та турботою. Щиро дякуємо власникам, які надають можливість насолодитись цім райським куточком. Час проведений на віллі, назавжди лишиться в наших спогадах!!! Окрему подяку хочу лишити для Соні та її чоловіка, які доглядають маєток! Соня готувала для нас дуже смачні страви! Це була смакота!))) Щиро раджу це місце , власників та всіх хто опікується відпочинком гостей!!! Хочу повернутись ще !!!
