Beautiful sandy beach waterfront ranch on Lake Erie with 0.4 acre of land. Very private on a dead end street with wooded areas across and on one side. Classy but cozy decoration throughout. 3 bedrooms & 2.5 bath that can accommodate up to 8 persons. Open concept kitchen/dining/living room. Panoramic windows overlooking the scenic backyard and the lake, with door to patio deck with propane BBQ. The backyard leads down to the private sandy beach with 90' of water frontage. Close to Point Pelee and ferry to Pelee Island.

I very much enjoyed staying here. The cottage was amazing, much better than the pictures and was very clean. We also went swimming on several occasions and used the bonfire. Overall, it was a perfect vacation for my family, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely come back in the future.

We had a nice time staying at Willy and Amber’s beach house. It is located in a remote residential area on the lake. The backyard over looks the lake and it’s about 20 steps down to a private beach area. The beach is a mix of sand and rocks. The water was warm and gets deep quickly. The backyard is spacious and has some patio furniture that you can bring in and out of the large garage. Inside, the house is both well laid out and equipped with everything you need for your stay. They are a five minute drive into the town of Wheatley, which has an ice cream shop, splash pad, park, walking trails, lcbo and grocery store.

Beautiful home and soothing view of Lake Erie. Close to a small quaint town and about 40 minutes to restaurants, shopping and even a Walmart. About 20 minutes to a grocery store. Very remote area but so peaceful. Many beaches, conservation parks and trails close by for hiking or just taking a walk and finding a bench to sit and enjoy the scenery. House has 3 bedrooms, 2 plus bathrooms, kitchen with everything you would need to cook and very well stocked, a dishwasher, washer and dryer. What more could you ask for? Almost forgot, the bonus of listening to the waves! Just what the doctor suggested.

The water was warm, clean and the kids enjoyed swimming there during our stay. Everything was organized and clean when we arrived, they had all the amenities we needed. This property was perfect for relaxing while providing a location that was close enough to everything while still being rural. The house was well equipped with everything you could need in a house while on vacation. There are many puzzles, books, and movies to keep you entertained if you want to stay in. The private beach is great as many neighbours are not out at the same time. The owner is very responsive which was nice to see. We had a wonderful time! (P.S. bring a pen if you want to sign the guest book! We couldn’t find one so unfortunately couldn’t sign it)

My husband, sister, father and myself stayed at the Ranch House and had a nice relaxing time. Out of all the cottages we’ve stayed in the past, this one has been our favourite. The pictures on the website are extremely accurate. The decor was nice, the place was clean, loads of amenities, and the view of the lake was fantastic. We spent most of our afternoons lounging in the deck chairs reading and staring out at the lake. There were steps down to the sandy pebbly beach which was great. Check-in was a breeze as I was emailed the instructions a few days before, and William responded to any inquires via the website messaging system in a quick and efficient manner. For any groceries and extras, there is a Circle K about a 6 min drive away in the town of Wheatley, opposite which there is a lovely diner for breakfast called Lil’s Hill Coffee Shop. For more intensive shopping, Leamington is about a 15 to 20min drive away and has a number of options. In the evenings, we entertained ourselves with some TV (there is a variety of options ranging from satellite to streaming services), puzzles and games, of which they have so many to choose. On one evening, we started up a fire in the fire pit with the provided wood and kindling, which is highly recommended! Unfortunately, the only downside was something one couldn’t do anything about. There was construction on the beach on the empty property next door to us which involved putting up a metal divider in the water. This meant th

My family and I have been on the hunt for a cottage that's got it all for years. This is it. Loads of activities in the surrounding area, and the cottage itself is absolutely beautiful and action packed with everything you could need. My only criticism, to no fault of the owner, is the lake temp flipped after a big storm, and left us with some rather chilly swims for a couple of days. Eventually, it warmed, but as avid swimmers and beach-goers, this was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, 10/10! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the property very much. Highlights: The view of the lake and the sound of the waves. The house is tastefully furnished and has everything you need. Furnishings, linens and decor were high end. The golf course is 5 minutes away and fees are very reasonable. It was very quiet as it is not near a major road and it is on a dead end street. Communication with the owner was easy and helpful. Our one suggestion would be add nylon type patio chairs for the deck that do not need to have cushions taken in at night. We would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved this cottage rental. Aside from its wonderful location at the edge of Lake Erie, vast garden and surrounding greenery, it was equipped inside with everything we needed and more for our vacation. The host, William, was exceptionally responsive to our questions when we contacted him. We would gladly stay here again if the owner is happy to have us back. It is also exceptionally situated. A close twenty minute drive to Point Pelee National Park and the Leamington Ferry Terminal (to take a ferry to Pelee Island). Grocery stores are also quite close (twenty minutes by car) and there is a liquor store less than five minutes away. Thanks William for letting us stay at your beautiful vacation home!

Of all the places we have stayed in the last 15-20 years, this is without any question one of the very best, most thoughtfully and fully equipped of all. The beds are all comfortable, and the furnishings a cut above those the norm for holiday rentals. This is a home in which the owners take pride and of which they take a lot of care. There is no cheaping out on anything in this rental. Further, virtually everything anyone might need to begin a stay is there on artical. We were astounded at the supply of kitchen and other supplies, from spices to cooking oils, detergents, paper towels, napkins, etc., etc., etc. Most rentals provide only the bare minimum, if that, of even basic supplies. That is emphatically not the case here. We cannot say enough good about the host: He is quick to respond to inquiries, requests for help and advice. Friendly, personable, he was a pleasure to speak to and exchange emails. Clearly, he cares about his property and cares about his guests. If we are able, at least one or more of is will be back again this time next year.

We were so fortunate to be so close to the lake on such a hot week. Water was great and kids enjoyed. Adults just floated around and relaxed. The house was so clean and beds very comfortable. We rented the cottage for a 3 night stay. The property is as described, very well equipped, comfortable beds, large functional kitchen, renovated bathrooms. It impressed me with how clean it was. The hosts made sure we knew where everything was, and were available for emergencies....we did not have any. Outside the property has a beautiful lawn leading to the lake where you go down a staircase to a private sand beach. The water was cold so we ended us sunbathing on the lawn. With three large trees, you have a choice of sun or shade all day. Peele park and a number of other parks and trails, as well as restaurants and grocery shops are within a 15 minute drive. All in all we had a great stay and hope to go back.

We were so looking forward to our stay, however the April stay at home order caused us to have to cancel our trip. That being said, the owners were so extremely accommodating and helpful with every detail of our up coming trip. We will definitely book again in the future.They sent us maps of where to hike, obtained fire wood for a camp fire, and even took out a crockpot so we wouldn’t have to search for it! So very kind!This would have been the perfect location right on the beach for those who love nature!Thank you and we hope to come in the future!
