Restaurant not spacious for the guest...long queue inside the restaurant...(like dansal 🤣)

I had the best assistance from Upekha. She went beyond her remit in helping me. Not only did she provide the best & safest amenities to explore, she helped in arranging safe transport for me for the entirety of my remaining time in Sri Lanka. It is down to her kindness, patience and consideration; I am able to enjoy navigating through the country. VERY happy we crossed paths. Thank you!!!

Liked the room size and heated pool in the hotel

The food was appalling except the dessert , we had only 1 meal and decided that we would eat elsewhere in the city,for the next 2 days . Many guests were complaining about the distasteful food and general attitude of staff who were very polite but clueless .The staff didn’t even welcome us when we arrived , they checked us into a room that was not vacant , room wasn’t cleaned while we were out ,poor restaurant food and overall lack of ambiance! The management charged us unnecessary tax (17000 SLR )at arrival although we had booked the hotel through booking.com . We were then asked to pay for a very uncomfortable extra bed which we didn’t even ask for . Overall a very pompous looking hotel with no real amnesties or value for money,we had to look for other hotels at the end.
