It's a beautiful townhome. Love the private pool. It was very comfortable. Internet was pretty spotty and inconsistent but other than that, it was a good time

Right on the water with super easy access to the bay. Bait ride and in the water wading in under 20 minutes. Nice to be able to cool off in the pool after a warm day on the bay. Very quiet neighborhood. Somewhat limited parking if pulling a boat and have an addition vehicle. But neighbor was cool and let us park a truck in his driveway.

The booking process was great we check in on time and all is well. We get to the home and it’s very very hot inside. We noticed the Thermostat was turned up pretty high. No biggie we turned it down and went to bed all 5 of us in the downstairs room as it was the only cool room. The next day we woke up and it was still warm but not as hot as the day before. We referred to the packet again to call about it but then read “we are on a small 1/2 mile VERY humid island like nothing you have ever had before. It takes a while for the fridge and other things to get cool” so we turned the AC down and went to the beach. Came back and it was hotter than it had been. Since we were all tired and on vacation we decided to call in the morning. Once we did it was fixed promptly. I asked for some sort of credit which I never do but when paying 2200.00 for 3 nights I expected the AC to be caught during their “quality check”
Another disappointing issue was the hot tub. I specifically chose this place because the pictures featured a hot tub and pool. I couldn’t wait to get in the hot tub and relax on my vacation. Well when trying to turn this on I noticed the 2 wires that powered the hot tub were purposely cut so that it can’t be used. Definitely was done a while back as I could see rust on the wires. I called management just to check to see if I was missing something and was told it doesn’t work and hasn’t in years. They said they don’t advertise a hot tub on the listing yet it’s clearly in the pictures. I think this needs to be disclosed as I wouldn’t have paid more to stay in this spot.
Another issue was the mosquitoes inside of the home. This was an infestation!!! I assure you the doors were shut because we were trying to cool it off and there were mosquitoes coming from the nasty couch as well as the beds. When we sat on the couch mosquitoes and fruit flies scattered. My entire family got eaten alive. What was odd is we didn’t get bit while outdid only inside.
I still haven’t heard from anyone about a credit, a sorry, nothing….
God I sound like a complainer but I assure you I’m never do so you know it hit a nerve.
The home was charming and it was a really good setup. Just these issues were too much to overcome.
