Located on the recently renourished east end of the island.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less crowded island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf shops, restaurants, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart rentals. The backside of the island has quiet protected water great for kayaking.

The property is in a great location...on the beach. The deck was new, and it's an easy walk to the sand. The property is older and outdated, but the space is great for a large family. We especially liked the ability to close off two areas for use of the sofa beds, giving privacy to those who slept there. The owner is VERY responsive in answering questions.

We had a wonderful week at Bray’s Rays with our family. We like the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The dining table is huge, which accommodated our family of 12. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable.

This is a great house that needs special attention . Tha layout is perfect for my family but it needs much needed repairs before I will rent again. I sincerely hope these are addressed before next Thanksgiving.
Cliff is a good host and responds to any concerns promptly.
