It was quiet for the most part. Until trash pick up and yard work twice a week at 630 am!

The location is awful! The listing doesn't tell you it's straight up a mountain using very narrow, very curvy roads. The beds are extremely loud and squeaky! The main bedroom is so bright! They only have these super thin, almost see through white curtains. I didn't need any lights turned on to see at night. Sleep was difficult! I probably wouldn't stay again. Super outdated.

The cleaning left something to be desired, the living room carpet was very dirty, I found a used sock and a bag of old food under the sofa, the bed sheets smelled of used perfume. Unfortunately, the cleaning was not pleasant.

I love that it was on top of a mountain!

I was trying to add another night to our stay, and it took me 2 days and a lot of phone calls and emails to get it done. Keep getting sent back and forth from Booking.com and the property. It was very frustrating!

The pool was nice. The actual condo is falling apart. The carpet is nasty lights don’t work the dishwasher run for hours and hours is pretty rundown.

The view was bad. there wasn’t enough towels for everyone for four nights only one per person for four nights, washcloth, etc… one dish towel! It was very small. The pictures were very deceiving. I will not stay there again ever or one there, nor would I recommend to my friends.

Mountain location was very scenic and not far from the city center. Towels and sheets were clean.

The entire condo was built in 1980’s and the inside was still 1980’s. The carpet was crusty; like it has been shampooed too much and just needs replaced or taken out. The large stains on it look disgusting. The cabinets are very old and don’t look nice. The mirrors had rust. The single shower head was Way too high and pointed at the wrong part of the wall. The toilet paper was cheap and paper towels cheap. They rip too easily. The coffee in the cabinet was stale. The kitchen closet was dingy and needs updated. The furniture was dated and the bed felt like a dollar store mattress. The tv remotes didn’t work and we had to manually control the tv from the actual tv buttons. The patio had disgusting wet carpet. I do not recommend this stay for the price I was charged. Having to clean up before leaving was not ideal.

Not very happy- waste of money.

That it was on top of a mountain

The room was nasty and stunk! Very misleading. Waste of money and instantly wanted to leave. The hot tub smelt weird and made me start coughing as soon as we got in it. The carpet was nasty, the beds sqeaked everytime we moved on it. The refrigerator was nasty. The bedroom dresser drawers were broke and they had a sign up saying not to pull on curtains because its broke and will fall down and hit you.

Location is spectacular, high in the mountains and peaceful.

Advertised as having a washing machine in the condo however, there is a washer and dryer that is shared between 12 condos. Having a young family this was one of the main reasons for picking this condo as young children go through alot. This was not as advertised.

Cell signal is not the greatest and the WiFi was out, no fault of the owner, they did try to get it taken care of. So trying to search for things to do at the condo was a bit difficult.

Enjoyed our stay here.

We have been visiting the Smokies for 50 years and enjoy staying off the main roads. We enjoyed the drive up the mountain. High Chalet is in a quiet location and it is nice to have a loveseat and recliner to relax in after a day of shopping and site seeing.
