Our adorable vacation home is located in the High Chalet Condo Community in Gatlinburg - the highest elevation in the Smokies area - and offers breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains including Mt LeConte.

Sleep above the clouds and be surrounded by the spectacular Great Smoky Mountains. Only 3 minutes to Ober Gatlinburg (Amusement Park and Ski Area) and 12 mins to downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Our cozy 1 bedroom 1 bath hideaway sleeps up to 4 and has everything you will need for a relaxing escape. With warm and comfortable furnishings, electric fireplace, full kitchen, and a beautiful balcony - you may just want to snuggle up & never leave the condo.

Our community features 2 hot tubs, sauna and a seasonal pool which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. We also have on-site coin laundry & community game room.

We enjoyed the stay it was beautiful! Very clean and quiet. Only thing is the ride up to the condo was just a little intense , which is expected it is on top of a mountain. But overall we loved it. We had seen one bear and the snow is beautiful in the mountains. Loved it!

Our experience was nice! The area was quite and the views amazing. Just make sure you rent a car. No Uber or Lyft will go up there. This rental is literally the top of the mountain.

This condo was perfect for a quick refreshing getaway to the mountains. The condo patio faces the roadway however the property is walkable and there are magnificent views of the mountains from benches behind a couple of the buildings. Wonderful places for morning coffee. Around the property there are picnic tables and grills. The property was quiet and safe. Travel up the mountain was easy. Wiley Oakly is your best route as far as a connecting road. Upper and Lower Alpine is ok but of you're worried about mountain travel these can get tight. It was a perfect location to head to anywhwre in Gatlinburg with a snap of your fingers and got you going right up to Clingman's Dome and the trails so fast. I absolutely would return here again whenever I need another breather. The condo has laundry down the exterior hallway.. and everything you need. It was superclean and the furnishings were all super comfortable. This is a great place to getaway!Thank you so much! so c

This property is exactly as described. It is at the top of the mountain and we enjoyed the winding roads to reach it. We saw six bear all in the vicinity of the condo. It is located near Pigeon Forge, the Smoky mountains park and close to North Carolina. There is so much to do in this area.

We had a great time here. Didn't actually spend a lot of time here, just a landing place for nights. Condo is older but very well kept and clean. We didn't quite have the views out our windows as expected but wasn't a deal breaker for us. Some of the rooms here would have fantastic views. Overall a great experience.

We randomly decided to go on a short vacation. My husband and I brought our girls ages 14 and 10. The property was perfect. The property manager, Gigi, made our time even better. Gave us helpful tips daily including ideas of what to do and cheapest options. The condo we had was a one bedroom. It had a futon in the livingroom the girls used. This futon was the nicest futon I've ever seen. They were very comfortable the whole stay. We will be back again.

This condo is very nice and had everything we needed. It sits at the top of a mountain so they view is nice but the road is curvy and steep. The day we arrived it snowed which concerned us but the road was clear the entire time we were there. Gigi was very communicative and answered our texts quickly. We definitely would visit this property again but maybe not during a snowstorm.

Very clean property and it is very bear themed. The suite has a nice kitchen ready to cook. The pool and hot tub are open 24/7. Cons: You are on the top of the mountain and the roads are curvy. Beautiful views on the way up. The walls are paper thin. We had people talking from the next room and heard everything. This room is on the second floor so we also heard everyone walking above us. I also thought we booked a private chalet but it is an apartment style property.

Excess to property was difficult. Decor was too cluttered for such a small space. Patio furniture was uncomfortable. Door and door glass from main room to patio was damaged. Outside property was unkept, dirty steps to second floor and all hallways needed cleaning. View was okay but nothing spectacular. Bathroom needs updated. Bed had broken poster knob. We were left instructions to call when we checked out. Since cell service was not available we tried the land line which was dead. That kind of scary in case of an emergency. Of all the places we have stayed on Gatlinburg I would say this is probably the worst.

I do not recommend this place. It was dirty and there were a few things that it was missing in order to have a comfortable stay. For example there were only three washcloths and we were told by the host that would be enough for up to four guests for a long weekend. Also, there was no blanket for the bed – just sheets and the bedspread. The host said that she was going to have sheets and a blanket delivered, but canceled the delivery because we chose to forfeit our booking and leave after one night. It was not all bad though. There is a pretty good view of the ski slopes at Ober Gatlinburg, and it has a nice coffee maker/keurig.

Great condo! We’ve been coming to Gatlinburg for decades and never stayed that high in the mountains. The drive up is amazing. The condo is nicely kept and quiet. We even got to see a bear in mid November. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This property reminded me of my first college apartment where you went together with your buddies and were just glad you weren't living at home... The lighting throughout the apartment was poor. There was only one working light in the bathroom. The outlet behind the futon was broken in half and missing the outlet cover. This is a major safety concern. One of the outlets in the bedroom had the outlet cover but it was not attached to the wall. The lamp by the chair was broken where the bulb screwed in but it did work. There was NO toilet paper in the apartment not even one piece of paper! The bedspread was extremely thin and not appropriate for a colder climate. The internet was extremely poor at best! The towels were very good. Overal I would not recommend this location!
