Enjoy Incredible mountain views from this lovely studio condo. We are located on top of the mountain, 3 miles up. The complex is called Gatlinburg High Chalet. Downtown Gatlinburg and the National Park are just 3 miles down.
Our complex is very nice and offers a summertime pool. Year round hot tubs, sauna, game room, wifi and bbq grills.
This condo can sleep up to 4. It has a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. It is prefect for couples, honeymooners and small families. The sleeper sofa is best suited for small children.

Unit smelled musty. Fixtures old. Low hot water pressure. No batteries in remote for tv. Unit needs remodeling. Patio door very diffucult to ooen or close. All the windows were dirty.

The view was great! Very cozy and the place was equipped with all of the bare necessities. I would suggest getting the balcony door fixed, it almost slid off the tracks and is difficult to open and close. Besides that I really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't mind booking this location again.

The view was amazing! Property manager was super helpful and very responsive to any issues that arose! Its a small honeymoon type of room. Bigger than a hotel room, roomy and homey! Absolutely loved it! The drive up if you habent droven it before was a bit scary the first couple times but the peace and quiet was totally worth it! They just dont have an elevator so please be aware of that!

Place was quiet and quaint. Towel hanger was knocked off the wall. Trim in bathroom not nailed in. Old coffee pod sitting on the counter and towels that were provided were musty smelling and still damp. Patio door is extremely hard to open and close and we got locked out on the patio one night resulting in my partner having to climb down the patio to let us in. Not ideal. Beautiful view and drive up the moutain. Hot tub was an added bonus for the cooler weather we had during our stay. Bed isnt the most comfortable but thats ok. You get what you get and dont throw a fit!

This was a great lil unit for the price. We went hoping to see a bear and saw bears every morning and evening right from the balcony. It’s not too far from Gatlinburg and easy access to the bypass if you go to Pigeon Forge or the National Park. It’s an older unit but was clean.

My husband and I had an amazing time! The location was high in the mountains which is loved, and we had a BEAUTIFUL view from the balcony! We even saw a bear walking in the parking lot (there are signs posted, so we knew it was a possibility). Check in was easy, and communication with the owner’s response was right away. The bed was comfortable and the place was cleaned prior to our arrival. We will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed our time here. It was clean and exactly as described. We saw a bear from our deck on multiple occasions. The 3 mile drive from downtown Gatlinburg to the condo took us 13 minutes. It is very windy and narrow. Staying on the main road is better. There are not many guide rails and drop offs along the side of the road are major. We drive mountain roads in PA. The dirt mountain roads are nothing like these roads. It is not very convenient unless you intend to leave for the day. Making multiple trips up and down the mountain in the same day got alittle tiresome. About half way through our stay, someone occupied the condo above us. We could hear every footstep, every moving of furniture across the floor and every thing that would drop on the floor. Hearing them walking was bothersome as this kept us awake at night. Take a fry pan as there were only kettles and sauce pans available. We enjoyed the view and seeing the bear from the balcony.

We absolutely loved where e stayed only thing was bad was people up above us let there kids run all night up stairs until 4am and you could here it but we loved sitting out on the balcony and watching the bear come through was amazing and the view was amazing

The condo was cute, smaller than I was expecting. I am glad it was just the two of us because there really wasn’t really m for more than 2. It would have been nice if there would have been a little warning about the roads to get there. The roads were a little scary getting there and coming out. There is no way we would have been able to go anywhere if it would have been the least bit slick. Overall it was a nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this unit knowing in advance some of the concerns expressed by other guests. The views from the chalet are great. The unit was suitable for our needs. Some changes, to be noted, the foldout table no longer has a supporting leg and there is only one bar stool so if you are eating in you are sitting on the couch.

There are updates that need to be made to the condo. The kitchen has a hole in the wall near the oven. The carpet is old and dirty, the bathroom faucet leaks and the aerator was clogged and sprayed water. The vents of where the air conditioning air blew out of were fifthly, the one chair at the island was broken. The bottom of the tub was brown and gray, needed to be scrubbed., Pillows for the bed were poor, no support.

The location of this condo was “in the mountains” with winding roads and narrow lanes. Very scary going up and down the mountains to get to the condo. The condo was not modern looking and could use an upgrade based on the pictures. The views from the condo are true to the pictures.

My granddaughter and I had a great time. Beautiful scenery, great location, saw a coyote, rabbits, birds and a black bear walked right past our room. We really had a great time but accommodation could use some TLC. Not complaining just true. Patio door hard to open, vent a hood didn’t work or large microwave, vent in bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in a while and it did not help my OCD any that one patio curtain faced one way and other was turned the other way (personal issue) I would return. Thank you.

The property manager was very quick at responding and getting back even before we booked the place. We got to see two black bears come right out the side by the balcony, very cool! The condo is very peaceful from watching the sunrise to it set. If you’re not wanting to go down the mountain in the rain there’s hot tubs easily available and a lot to do. Great stay!!

The property was well maintained and the view was great. Before booking this property, I read the reviews as I always do. A few people pointed out issues and the property manager was quick to answer and address their concerns. That's great! However, the issues listed have not been addressed. First, a major concern, the sliding door that allows access to the balcony does not work properly. It is nearly impossible to close and latch. Second, the toilet paper holder. Yes, something that simple. Pieces of it were missing so they just left the toilet paper roll stuck on the remaining parts. Come on! The missing piece is available at Wal-Mart for $2.34. They have complete hangers as low as $7.32. Surely for what you charge, you can afford at least $3 to fix an issue. I won't even make a big deal about the shower head that came over on the Mayflower. I have stayed in a few condos and know most of the common rules. I have NEVER been asked to wash, dry and put away dishes. Usually, the condo rules ask to have the dishes placed in the dishwasher and start it before leaving. This ensures this dishes have been cleaned and properly sanitized. We did wash, dry and put all used dishes back in the cabinet clean. How do we know that the previous guest did the same? We washed everything before we used it. How does your staff know we properly cleaned the dishes? Do they open the cabinet and say...yeah, they look clean? Do they do the same with the linens? We were satisfied with our accommodations and enjoyed our stay but there are definitely concerns that need to be addressed. Do any of the owners ever stay in these units? Would these issues be acceptable in their own homes? Show some pride in the properties you manage and address the issues that have been brought to your attention multiple times.

Clean and comfortable condo with a beautiful view. I watched the sunrise over the mountains every morning while I enjoyed a cup of coffee. The only negative about this condo is that it is on the second floor of a 3 story building. The upstairs neighbors during our visit moved the furniture a lot. A minor issue that did not detract from the overall experience. I would stay here again.
