About this house rental
We have opened up our place again this year for summer guests. There is no better place to view Lake Superior than on the Onota Hill!!
This one bedroom apartment is situated on 40 acres of land overlooking Lake Superior. It is a quiet, remote getaway location. Unplug and relax in our piece of heaven. The apartment has a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Superior. A great place to sit and watch the sunrise with a nice cup of coffee!! This rental is 25 minutes from so many local attractions!!
25 minutes to Pictured Rocks
25 minutes to Marquette
15 minutes to AuTrain beach and The AuTrain River, one of the most popular rivers to canoe in the UP!!
5 minutes to Lake Superior
5 minutes to Deer Lake, a very popular beach/ swim area
Our apartment is close to ATV trails and hiking. The apartment has 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed and a twin bed. There is a full size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Onota Hill is a perfect location to be able to explore the central Upper Peninsula. The perfect getaway!!! With plenty of close hiking trails and waterfalls, there is always something new to explore.
This rental is on 4 miles of maintained dirt road. It is an upstairs apartment, with stairs. Apartment includes full shower, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee pot and coffee. All bedding and bathroom towels are provided. There is a TV with DVD player, board games and books. Cable and WiFi are NOT available.
Minimum 2 night stay. There is a discount for a 7 night stay or month rental.
There has been some confusion in the past, this is an apartment above our garage. The garage is not attached to our house but our house is right next to the apartment.
This is a quiet, clean UP retreat.

A secluded getaway, with great views. We especially liked sitting on the sofa and looking out the window at Lake Superior. A short 30 minute drive to Munising where we went kayaking and explored Pictured Rocks.
